That looks just like Oxtail. I wish I was one of the tasters it looks amazing. I will save this one as I am a big Jamaican food fan, I am transitioning to a plant base lifestyle and Jamaican food I will surely miss, but not anymore. Thank you so much for this.

You are so adorable! Why use agar AND arrowroot? Is lactic acid the same as sour salt? The fresh mozz in the store is super expensive!!!
😊 thanks! The vegan and dairy cheese are super expensive- and this recipe is very satisfying on the taste buds and wallet! The agar is to give it that stretchy texture and the arrowroot is to help it thicken and feel creamy.

Therapy is the foundation that preps for the plant medicine journey
It depends. Not for everyone. It’s not necessarily a prerequisite - however for some it can be helpful to have processed and have insight beforehand. The plant medicine journey is also therapy! What may take some folks years to process in therapy, a plant medicine journey can do in 1 sit. So it all depends on the person and their unique journey.

So interesting how you only quote part of the sentence and don’t acknowledge the rest of the statement. I stand by this -> The goal isn’t Veganism. The goal is to be mindful REGARDLESS of what diet one eats. Mindless veganism leads to eating fake meat and Oreos which contribute to health and environmental issues as well. Notice how many fast food restaurants have gotten with the Vegan trend and are still selling junk and a bunch of packaged goods in plastic waste? If we’re only focused on the label and NOT being mindful and aware of how these “labels” ultimately harm our bodies and Earth then we’ve missed the point.

Im leaving this comment for those who will come later and want to actually learn. As for you, it seems like you’re more interested in shaking your head than you are in having fruitful dialogue. When you’re ready to come down from your “Vegan” high horse, consider that vegan people who judge (like you) actually keep the community stuck. For those of you who are open to dialogue and expanding understanding, Consider that everyone is different and they require various dietary needs. When we get stuck on a label or focused on judging we miss that mindful eating isn’t against veganism - it’s just asking veganism to expand its idea of how labeling food or making it about a moral value doesn’t necessarily help everyone. Mindful plant based eating is asking folks to really consider their foods source and its impact on the planet and their health to shift the way people think about food and what they eat.
Don’t waste your time. This is just an advertisement for a cook book. No ingredient amounts given

Doesn't lactic acid come from milk?
No it doesn’t. No cows 🐮 here. The name is confusing but it’s not dairy derived. A google search will give you more information as well. . . .Lactic acid is a product of the fermentation process. Whether it’s vegan or not will depend on what was fermented to create it. Most lactic acid is plant-based, but that isn’t always the case. If you want to be sure, you’ll have to contact the manufacturer directly to find out.
This look delicious! So, are the measurements in the cookbook estimates, because you are not measuring at all. LOL
Lol, yes there are real measurements in the cookbook however I always encourage folks to get comfortable with mindful cooking without precise/exact measurements. But for those who need a starting place, I make sure to give measurements 📚👩🏾🍳
What is a good lactic acid substitute? What is a substitute for the yogurt? Can tapioca flour be used instead of arrowroot? How long does it keep on the fridge? Can it be frozen? If so, how long does it keep?
Hey good questions : In this recipe there really isn’t a sub for lactic acid because of how it taaaangs! (I spell that with all the A’s lol). However if you must, you can try lemon juice instead. There isn’t a sub for the dairy free yogurt. You need the texture and probiotic cultures in it. Yes you can use tapioca starch as sub for arrowroot powder. It keeps for up to 7 days. No it can’t be frozen, will complete lose its texture and not thaw well.

Out of curiosity, I wonder if you've ever tried Iboga.... the masculine plant teacher.... no diet required. It's been shown recently to GROW NEW BRAINCELLS in Alzheimer's patients... not to mention forcing a full factory reset of your neurotransmitter levels. This allows people to simply walk away from drugs, with minimal effort. Like, they go in unable to abstain for a day, and come out not even wanting to take an aspirin or cup of coffee. I have 3 friends that have done it, and have wanted to myself for some time now. Though I no longer need it for the mental part of addiction, I still want it to get off Suboxone (I'll be switching to kratom for a month first, as I know it doesn't work well for that) and to put an end to the last of my trauma, for good. I'm still surrounded by the people who traumatized me as a child, and have been working through it regardless, and my responses to stimuli are slowly changing. However, these people CAN'T STAND that I'm getting better, despite them constantly complaining about my issues my whole life (the issues they caused, btw), and they still try to sabotage and take advantage to the trauma responses that I still have. I would love to see the looks on their faces, after an Iboga trip, when all the buttons they installed amd love to push, are dismantled and no longer function. It really is the best revenge, living well despite your enemies. You get to hurt them back without violating your own conscience.

Your recipe seems inviting. But I have to tell you that I'm not an advocate of any dairy products in any amount. Even when we refer to how it was in the old days. Nor am I an advocate of oil in any amount. That would include the well marketed extra virgin olive oil. This comes from a lifestyle change doctor who has been a cardiologist all his life. I love this share! I agree with you about dairy, humans got that part wrong. Dairy isn’t for us. Additionally I’ve noticed my relationship to oils changing. It’s challenging these days to know that we’re eating our best. I’ve been listening to my body after meals and noticing that I feel better after meals with less or no oils. It takes a while to get there though. The video from the cardiologist is helpful!

Ive never tried ayahuasca only mushrooms. As a Christian it truly healed parts i repressed and allowed me to find the kingdom of God within me. I was 100 percent being more true to my ego then my spirit. We are spiritual beings having a human experience and I wasn't true to who i was

You already know the answer. Once it’s divine , it will flow effortlessly from that source! Ayahuasca will definitely help. When it comes to Ayahuasca, I’ve found that surrender is my greatest gift. Get out of my own way and let Ayahuasca show me the way that’s grounded in love, God and nature. That song is always divine.

Where exactly did you do your own Ayahuasca because it is clear out there , the world is full of fake shamans. I belief its better to do it with the indigenous medicine people and not through so called trained certified shamans
I am asking this from Uganda and i thing this urge started out in December where I felt I needed to go into the wild nature, but I could not afford it at that point. The hunger has been on since they of awaken and I am continuously searching and learning.
