Each candidate had three questions from the audience. Doug's response to the individuals at the Medical College who cannot wait to leave the Wausau area did not respond to the inclusion and diversity issue. I didn't see any real answer from either candidate on how we can bring better jobs to the area.

How about next time hold this on a weekend so more can show up. I feel like this was the plan by the current mayor to have it this way. Man nothing personal against you but I was a copier rep for 4 years and I've never met such boring individuals in my life. You ask what they did at the weekend they reply "errr... I took my microwave apart on Saturday to clean it then Sunday I built a Lego set with an engine. They have no pleasures no beer no holiday just total nerds. I finally gave up and became a hgv driver more money more freedom I certainly don't miss the moody customers ! But good luck you lad

Wont mention the company, but for me I didn't need any degree for this job. 7 weeks of initial training then years of on the job training + continual certification of new and existing products. You get the hang of it

here is an idea, nix the degree part let them get certs and give them a job, all a degree means is they also did general education courses that have nothing to do with the job. i've met plenty of people with degrees that i would never let try to fix anything they have a degree in fixing, and others who taught themselves and will have it done right in about 5 minutes.
