I fought hard to search for the "Gidget" cartoon series. But the problem was: it's more of a drama series than comedy. Since they don't have the audience laughing at their jokes. We used to have comedy shows that required laugh tracks back then in the entire 1960s.
I don't know how this happened but at 80 I launched into a James Darren channel, thank goodness for small mistakes. Takes me back to my youth, saw Gidget more times than I can remember but loved every minute of it. Even now the memories are so much fun. Happy JD had a lovely life. Still such fond memories of Moondoggie. Does anyone else remember the car commercial he did way back when? I would pray for that commercial to come one. And there was only one Gidget. I'm truly sorry Sandra's personal life was so full of sorrow.

I saw Gidget 3 times in one week when I was about 12 in Philadelphia. He was my idol. Many years later, I managed to get backstage at a concert in Philadelphia and got a very quick kiss...I will never forget it and I am now 71. I would do anything to see him again in person.
