Anyways, I am not sure how much they destroyed the park before burying it, I know Newlyn East they took sledges to the concrete. However if you look back across for the golf course you can seen the indentation of the bowls in the grass, so something's under there! Damn shame this went, would've been so heavily sessioned now

@@frontsidefreddysskatetapes6410 thanks and no probs , I’ve been back every few years and your right you can still see something there ! , it’s a shame Cornwall council haven’t unearthed it or recognised its historical value , maybe the Holywell bay fun park doesn’t want it back , either way it would be awesome if was resurrected , i would definitely go for the opening day !! . Playing place is still there although nowhere near the size of Holywell bay

Mmm no, best to ask Paul Sampson on Shredders page, I just posted it, he probably knows as was local. And you didn't miss much with Holywell down the road, only skated it a handful of times, think there was quite a bit of flat.

This was built by the Bond father and son team, they also built Holywell and lived in Newlyn East. I helped them form transitions so it wasn't banked (they'd started when I came back form traveling that's why the first bits are banks). I also fitted the metal coping. ;-)

@@damianjenkin3900 Yeah it's so good to see him on this vid, those trademark frontside ollies to fakie is where i learnt them from. So much more to come, apparently i have to wait a week before uploading anymore due to youtubes verification system but after that I'll be doing regular uploads, both local, rare uk and international vids. Official, contests and promos.
