You brought out some good points about the film but, for what it is, Madame Web isn't a very terrible film at all. I thought it was loads better than Morbius. My biggest gripes with the film was Ezekiel not being an intimidating enough villain and the fact we see all the females just briefly in their costumes. I know the film was meant more as an origin story for Madame Web and an easy way of introducing the spider women to audiences so that they may have solo films at some point. However, if I were the director, I would have stated as much in interviews leading up to it's release. That way, moviegoers wouldn't be expecting it to be blockbuster material like Avengers: Infinity War or Endgame and more of an indie superhero film. What bothers me is that people have been brought up on lavish superhero movie productions so much that movies like Madame Web, Morbius, Bloodshot and Black Adam don't stand a chance at the Box Office. It's sad because some are actually good films, imo. In my 57 years almost, I've seen far far worser films.

2024 being the best year to be a Karate Kid fan, 40th anniversary for the original, Cobra Kai season 6 and new Karate Kid film releasing this year.

Moreover, this show is what our genres were back in our school/college days where the show would have a decent story but so many different attributes added to it. One example but not the best one, would be Teen Wolf/TVD, where tere was a story along with sh!t take of romances but the fights, the family politics and the gore made it worth watching. That's what today's shows are missing. Now it's all about making a story with continuous plot twists with no side attributes playing a part.

Netflix legit did a power move taking Cobra Kai. My dad had watched all the 80s Karate Kid and was just head over heels when the show first aired on YT red, now he is anxious for the next season. Damn, what a brilliant show this is.

I watched each ep of Gen V as it was coming out honestly I disliked it at first but it gets okay later on. Watched it to be updated on the lore of the The Boys universe so if you're invested I do recommend watching Gen V but if you're just a casual viewer then nah. Also Jordan has diff powers as a boy and a girl which is why they kept switching in that fight with Golden Boy. There isssss a connection with The Boys like in the show itself but I'm not gonna spoil it jic you're planning on watching it ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ Also I found a movie that is wayyyy worse than what I said last time holy shit I couldn't get past 30 minutes even watching it w my friend as a joke. It's called Verotika, it was created by Danzig [good musician, awful film maker] honestly the worst thing I've ever watched [and for reference I loveeee The Room]

I'm glad I'm not the only person that hasn't watched Mean Girls until semi-recently I usually prefer horror or action, but I've started watching chick-flick comedy movies for background noise when cleaning my room I thought mean girls was pretty alright, not what I normally enjoy but it made me chuckle sometimes. If you haven't seen Legally Blonde you should check that out, I'd give it a 7.5/10 (aside from the bend and snap part, that was a bit painful to watch lmao)
