Easy Kaleidoscope Jelly Cake: A Burst of Colors and Flavors!
Kaleidoscope Cake with Fruit Jelly - a colorful and delicious dessert that will brighten up your table and satisfy your taste buds! This recipe uses three types of fruit jelly - cherry, kiwi, and blackberry - mixed into a creamy sour cream base for a beautiful layered look. It’s easy to make and perfect for family gatherings or parties!
Ingredients:
Three types of fruit jelly:
- 90 g (3 oz) cherry jelly
- 90 g (3 oz) kiwi jelly
- 90 g (3 oz) blackberry jelly
- Water: 250 ml (1 cup) for each jelly
Cream mixture:
- 25 g (0.88 oz) gelatin
- 125 ml (½ cup) water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
- 400 ml (1 ⅔ cups) sour cream
- 100 ml (⅖ cup) milk
Step-by-Step Recipe:
Prepare the fruit jelly:
Dissolve each flavor of jelly in 250 ml (1 cup) of hot water. Pour into molds and refrigerate for 2 hours or until fully set.
Make the cream mixture:
Soak 25 g (0.88 oz) of gelatin in 125 ml (½ cup) water for 10 minutes. Heat 100 ml (⅖ cup) of milk over low heat and stir in the gelatin until it dissolves, being careful not to let it boil. Add the vanilla powder.
Combine with sour cream:
Pour the milk-gelatin mixture into 400 ml (1 ⅔ cups) of sour cream and mix thoroughly until smooth.
Add fruit jelly cubes:
Cut the set jelly into small cubes and gently fold them into the sour cream mixture.
Final step:
Pour the combined mixture into a mold and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours until firm.

How much heavy cream and how much sugar
Heavy cream 150 ml (5.2 fl oz) and sugar 100 g (3.5 oz). This is according to the recipe. But the ice cream turned out very tasty, next time I will give the sugar - 50 g (1.75 oz). Bon appetit;)
