metallic photo paper is best
the phoenix shows as being able to use PSA film as well. Do you have any videos using cold film?
+katch26 I do not have a video right now with cold film but I have run cold film on the Phoenix Laminator. To do that, I webbed the cold film under the idler bar in back of the main roller. At the idler, I separated the liner from the film to expose the adhesive on the film. I pulled the liner back and draped it over the roll of cold film on the supply shaft. I pulled the laminating film, adhesive side out, over the main roller and webbed with a threading board same as with hot film. As you laminate your print, place your hand on the liner on the supply shaft and keep pushing the liner backwards. Once it drapes down to the board exiting the back of the laminator, it may keep pulling off the liner on its own. Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please call us at 800.443.4421. Thanks.
the ultima 53ezload is really wasteful, i wish i could stop the 10 inches on overhang that isnt needed at the start of each press, any thoughts..?
