Handy, 6 tonne log splitter in action
zhlédnutí 1,1KPřed 3 lety
A 6 tonne log splitter made by Handy. It's not had any issue with anything I've thrown at it so far...
long term project then good luck mate, i have a rme riley 1950 1 , 5 barn find , fronts ok but backs got heavey rott rust i believe ast time on the road , was 1973 by old tax disc, no back floor , seats just started working on the floor, in a standard garage theres not much room cant move her on my own so she in the middle and i have about a foot and 1/2 to walk round cant imagine from 73 to 2024 how much dirt there was in her shes much lighter now lol its just prep at moment re port back in say 4 years time please god on her progress , oh have called her W D 40 GALLONS USED AT PRESENT LOL HAPPY MOTORING
👍👍👍
Same engine but with high/low box, stronger frame and better shocks. Called the Postie Bike in Australia.
Brilliant, so is that like a C90 step through but has knobbly tyres ?
Just got mine today been hit in face all ready y does the push foot have a bulge on it i feel like it need a spike to hold onto logs
Yes, it has a bulge. I only stand behind the splitter and keep any slope on the log pointing under the bulge so the pressure keeps it in. If they are a jumpy set of logs I use mt face mesh and hat...
Says in manual 130mm minimum logs but gap between ram and wedge is min 180mm so logs , to get a decent split, need to be 230/250mm plus. That's quite big for stoves. Anyone found this??
It is but I have a hardwood block that fits to the ram end if needed.

Need to paint👍💪💪
What happened to this car.i see the reg number has been taken off
I sold it 3 years ago with the reg and hoped the reg would stay with it....sad to hear it didn't...

Saves and old mans back - and puts a smile on his face :-)
That looks fun 😊
next video is my new splitter :-)
I had a Wolseley 1550 my first car a 1959 one, it must have been one of the last ones the badge on the back had Wolseley 1550 in small writing the reg was MRS86 should have kept that.
Pro trick: you can watch series at Flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Ashton Quincy definitely, been using Flixzone for since november myself :D
My dad had one of these in the 60's. It had a manumatic transmission. The clutch was a push button on top of gear stick. Never worked properly, got rid of it asap.
Quality Cars In Their Day.
Just found this via Facebook Marketplace. Nice job pal
I stripped 1550 engine down and rebuilt it twice during training in 1971.
Nice Wolseley 15/50. The paint scheme and the wheels look good and suit the car. One thing though, the door latches on the B & C pillars are fitted upside down. Interesting that they actually work like that!
What a beauty
