Decent band, but the singer needs some more long power

There are many cover versions of this classic VU song . The Black Crowes’s version in southern rock type in ABB style , My Morning jacket plays an alternative rock version with a touch of southern rock, David Johansen came up with updated punk rock version , Australian band Sand Pebbles came up with psychedelic rock version and now this band band plays a folk rock version. All are great but i prefer BC version followed by the original VU song

Hard to go wrong with good material but they do the velvets version proud

I found this in my playlist and although both vu and the bc are great this just takes it another level and it has more soul than its original version and the bc version and the drummer is off the chains good

I heard this song, and learned it 48 hrs later… couldn’t be helped (twas a “must” as my European friends say..) Been playing on their version of “cool it down” for about a year now. Tasty tasty stuff, right there!!
