filmed during the drum recording session for the Véhémence album "Ordalies". i recorded 5 takes and took 3 out of these to make the drums for the song "Un Contre Mille". Equipment I used: Tama Starclassic Drums Symrna Cymbals

To be honest - this music is so fucked up and abnormal - it was impossible to play a song in 1 take during the recording! Therefore I have no videos from this recording session!

@@thomasleitner7578 Would be amazing, I really enjoy the album but the mixing could be better (in my opinion ofcourse) but with better drumming some of those songs would really stand out much more! Love from rural Netherlands my friend!

Drum sound is ass. Sounds flat and soulless, like a drum machine. Definitely the worst aspect of this otherwise awesome band.
You cannot make music that sounds powerful without triggering a bit the drums.
@@hugobuffet7366 Nothing wrong with triggers but this sounds like a cheap DAW or someone playing drums with a keyboard. Which is a shame because everything else comes together so well.
Amazing. Ordalies is one of my favorites from 2022. Please give us more drum recordings!

Yes, the one with all the accent marks (drummer here is in it) is the French one, the newer band.
@@fryewerk Are they completely different? If so, i think apple music merged both of their discographies.
@@idklol8521 I don't have Apple Music, but yes- two different bands. Véhémence (with accents) is from France and plays medieval themed black metal, while the older Vehemence (without accents) is US based.
