My shame story
It took me several months after making this to share it. I can happily say that I have had no shame storms about being transgender since. I have definitely had some things that used to trigger me occur but have managed my feelings and fear without that old darkness. I truly feel free of it. Be proud.

Kelly Vandenberg the poor dog was afraid cuz a ferret was mean when she was a puppy. however parsley, the ferret, never gave up trying to cuddle and hang out. It was so cute

Could you run over the rules please? I am curious how the 11 rules are fleshed out to 40mins? Does it involve any kind of rhythmic chanting? Is it OK to come to a cuddle party and just stay for the rules and then leave? I am very interested in rules. Thanks for your time.
Hi! Since you have been waiting a while, I would love to answer your question. I am in no way affiliated with this particular event. I feel qualified to answer because I recently completed the cuddle party training and I have attended as a participant and an assistant facilitator for several years. The rules section/ welcome circle does not involve chanting. lol. It does involve specific examples and exercises that allow participants to do things like practice saying no, practice asking for what they want, and practice honoring the boundaries of others. You can leave right after the rules are read if you like. In fact, you can leave at that time with a full refund. The organizers of cuddle party want you to know what you are getting into. If you learn about the rules and meet the facilitator; then, determine that this is not the event for you. That's ok. You can come another time when you feel more emotionally prepared or simply ask for a refund. You can also leave early if you feel to overwhelmed by the idea of open cuddle time. You can also come to hear the rules and work on your boundaries. You do not have to touch anyone ever. I hope that helps. :)
Thank you so much for the reply Shawn. It really means a lot to me. Are the rules ever recorded at a live or possibly demo session? I've read over them many times now on the site and envisioned them in my head quite regularly but it's obviously not the same as seeing it happen for real. In my visions there is lots of chanting.
