I’m excited to share my new educational, ecology-based CZcams channel called Ecology Insights Australia (EIA). My content will include ecology surveying tutorials, notable wildlife encounters, research insights, species ID info, technical data analysis, and other general ecology tips and tricks.
Alongside the CZcams channel, I’ve also created an associated Instagram account - ecologyinsights.aus. This account will condense and share a lot of the info from the CZcams channel as well as provide some exclusive shorter content.
I hope that these info outlets will go a long way in helping others who are also passionate about ecology! Stay tuned for future content.

Great see you're still creating content. I dont suppose you could do a vid with the upgraded Anabat Express?
Madness mate! Subscribed!
Is this boat trip available to anyone? I'd love to do it!
Sure is and I highly recommend it! I don't know of any official companies that run these trips, just passionate birders that all chuck in to hire a boat for the day. If you send an email to Lmcrae.ecology@gmail.com I can give you some further details about who to contact.
Nice video, u heard about get 4 views? It helps to get into CZcams trends, sometimes)
Please make a day in the life of an ecologist!
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll keep it in mind for future videos.
Great video. I’m sorry that I wasn’t around the Central Coast to see them. Great idea for the channel and I’m looking forward to more content. I’m an enthusiastic amateur but have been doing some remote monitoring using Enduro cameras and a Wildlife Acoustics SM4 audio recorder. A few videos on remote monitoring would be interesting. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! They were amazing to see. Thanks for the video suggestion, I'll keep it in mind for the future.
😓 "Promo sm"
Owls are just so cool and chill 😎I love them 💜 Pretty amazing video, could have also few million views.😁😁 Keep it up 💪 You got my sub!
Cheers mate!
Great video. I have Celestron 8x42. As you mentioned, 42 diameter is the way to go for most bird watching 😊
As an aspiring ecologist in Aus, thanks so much for making these videos!
No worries! I’m glad some people are finding them helpful.
That's amazing!
good video - well presented. Those other topics would be a great idea too - for novices and "I only use harps once a year" ecologists.
Went for a look today but going to go back as it was getting a bit late, there was still a couple around but hard to see properly with the fading light
Good to hear that they're still around! Good luck with your future searches.
@@EcologyInsights cheers man, hopefully see them again properly today! Like the channel concept you have by the way, keep it up 👌
Nice one Lachlan. it's great to see you're filling the niche for ecology on CZcams. Before you channel came along, I think the closest thing would of been camera trap footage (which incidentally I recommend you should produce at some point). Looking forward to future videos.
Cheers mate! I've got a large list of ideas for future videos that I'm looking forward to sharing over the next few months.
