Hey Katherine, I’ve got a question I thought you may be able to answer. I am thinking of studying in Thailand but I‘ll be 23 by next semester, and I‘m afraid I’ll be by far the oldest / stand out bc of my age. Do most people start Uni right after high school in Thailand or is it normal to take gap years / start in your twenties? Thanks for your regular vlogs, they’re really fun and insightful :)

Hello Katherine! I've been watching your content since your first day of classes, and I'm a big fan. I'll be studying in Bangkok soon, and your videos bring me a lot of happiness. However, I have a question about the schedule for wearing uniforms. I noticed that sometimes they're worn, and other times they're not. Could you let me know if there are specific times or rules for when to wear them?
My uni is quite flexible with dress code. You can basically wear whatever you want except for classes that have specific dress code. It’s not mandatory to wear uniforms. If you sign up to volunteer for activities, you might have to wear the uniform.

may I know! how many hours per day do they lecture and how many days per week ?
Lectures normally last around 2 to 3 hrs. You can take up to three classes per day. We have six to seven courses per semester so depending on how many classes you take per day, how many days you attend school differ. We have to go to school five days per week but others only have to for four days. That’s up to you.

Hi, I like your videos so much, and I’m thinking about studying in BUI. What can you say about teachers, are they Thais or foreigners? Are you satisfied with their level of English?
Thanks for the sweet comment! Most instructors are Thai who got their degrees abroad and some are foreigners mostly from the US. But we had one ajarn from New Zealand last semester. I was lucky to have been in classes of ajarns (teachers) with good command of English so far so I didn’t have any problem with that. They do have an accent tho but it’s pretty comprehensible.

What does your timetable look like ? Are you at uni every single day ?
I’m at uni even on off days because I work for student council. Normally, you go to school from three to five days depending on the courses you take. We have one to two classes every day. The first sem for first year, the schedule is random and you can’t choose your classes. But starting from the second sem, you can choose your set menu courses.
