We hope you enjoyed the video! Unfortunately, the seabirds will have left by September. But there is still plenty of wildlife to see across the islands of Scotland, including seals!

sunburn personally like west coast although did walk st andrews beach in a snowblizzard - horizontal snow but an experience nt does a great job - not as yet done much scotland nt / working my way round -

I'm sure it's amazing for scientists and the MOD but Jesus that looks rough. Interesting as well that there was no mention of the thing that nobody's talking about... I do wish DG would not say 'Outlander' is even 'reasonably' historically accurate. At least in the Scottish part, it is very inaccurate. She did her 'research' a long time ago and, from her own list of books, seems to have read very little real Scottish history. Let people enjoy the books for the imaginative fantasies they are, but saying they are 'reasonably well founded in history' is laughable.

It is remarkable that the series was able to find so many perfect choices for those many iconic characters. I will always love the books for their depth and variety. You have given your characters very definite character, right down to their marrow. While there are details beyond the scope of a normal human actor, even with the help of special effects and the application of prostheses or contacts. There are also limits to what an actor may be willing to sacrifice, an arm or finger for instance, for a single accurate portrayal. Acting life, after all is, one hopes, long and varied. I have finished reading the series, again, and waiting for 10. Though, being 80 years old, i am not particularly in a hurry to end anything, though endings in themselves are not frightening, coping with possible disability or over protective children can both be a trial. I will say i appreciate the stimulation of your many books, and the very real understanding that life for the older generation does not at all dispense with ambition, desire, passion or deep emotion when they have occupied our life, our hearts and minds from our youth. We are alive to life no less as we age, and perhaps even more so, as we see its potential ending. Thank you for the adventure, and for acknowledging that living and loving is a life long, should be a life long, adventure.
Her ability to write such a beautiful love story with such depth of character in Jamie and Claire is astounding .. and the actors certainly do them justice !
