I thought this was a decent movie. 6.5 or 7 out of 10. I would like to know what are some of your favorite horror movies. By the way I've never actually been scared of any movie simply because its just a movie!

I just watched the movie today! I agree that I wish they showed more of the murders, rather than just the ones featured in the trailers. I also felt as though they could have fleshed out the plot a lot more and various plotlines (e.g. the main character's psychic ability, how the metal balls connected all of the families together and affected them, the code that was used, etc.). The plot, in some ways, seemed to be loosely tied together (just touching on main ideas; tip of the iceberg kind of plot), and the ending left me kind of wanting. I will say that this movie is pretty unique, with the death of one of the main characters (being a little vague to avoid spoiling too much, but I suppose I spoiled quite a bit) a little over halfway through. I don't think any modern horror movie has attempted this, and the movie all in all was still a good watch. I will maintain that Hereditary is still my favorite modern horror movie though. It is unrivaled a far as creating dread and suspense and making you feel the hopelessness and desperation of its characters.

Girl, I feel like I have a ton … Barbarian, The Babadook, It Follows, The Strangers (original), Blair Witch … I didn’t think any of them were scary, like they were hyped up to be, nor that great. I’m sure that’s a VERY unpopular opinion, though, because lots of people liked them it seems. 😂

Honestly her flatness makes sense when you get toward the end of the film and you find out WHY she acts the way she does. Can't say what it is because it would spoil the movie. And her abilities actually do make sense again with her reveal later on. So I'm confused why you thought it didn't go anywhere. Lol

Just got back from seeing Longlegs with my partner! I agree with a lot of your comments. I loved the eerie vibe of the movie, and the cinematography. I remember watching the trailer and feeling so disturbed. The marketing team did an exceptional job! While the movie didn't quite live up to my expectations, I'd still recommend it!

This show is so good. It has become one of my favorite series. I don't understand why so few talk about Midnight mass. If you love this show you might like Marianne, a french horror series. Probably the most creepy series I have seen 😅

I've read 3 of her books. I find her writing annoying, boring, droning - Now I will remember - never again! She is no Patricia Highsmith or Stieg Larsson or John Grisham.

Can you give tips on concentrating on an audiobook? I find I start daydreaming and miss a lot. Do you sit and the couch still and listen or do you listen while walking outside? I feel it must be hard to get into a new book via audiobook not knowing the characters.

Hi! Thanks for this. I just started the book today and was ready to DNF it till I heard your review. I find the writing is disjointed and doesn't flow. The characters are whiny and not likeable. But I'm always intrigued by an ending that's totally unpredictable. I don' t think saying there's a twist is a spoiler--it's a given with a thriller trope. Thanks again.

I just finished End of Story. The premise ticked all my boxes, but in the end, the story didn't sit right with me.

Just finished it today- i went completely blind into this and im not a fan of blood and gory scene at all lmao but i found the book really good nevertheless

If you want a really good chiller novel to keep you cool during the worst season of the year, I would highly recommend Road of Bones by Christopher Golden. Set in Siberia way below freezing. Very cool and creepy story, I think you would really enjoy it!

A Simple Plan is so good. Movie is great as well but the book is a bit darker. Enjoy.

I highly recommend The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth. It’s one of my favorite thrillers. I’m definitely going to try the other one you mentioned!
