yes. H2 is easy. All you need is the interaction of water and magnesium. Our pitchers create lower levels of H2, but our higher end systems have no problem getting over 1ppm.
I have a moen pulldown faucet and I'm looking for male/male adapter with the right threads which seems to be impossible on one end I will need the 3/4 garden hose adapter and on the other whatever fits my moen
Doe anyone know the flow that should be coming out of the RO filter? I only get a trickle, is that ok and I'm just supposed to rely on pressure at that point?
You'll only a trickle to small stream through the clean side (permeate) of the membrane. That's why there is a storage tank, otherwise you would have to wait a long time to fill up a glass.
How can l make.my distilled water Alkaline?
On your website it says that the PLUS removes 97+% of fluoride. This is BETTER performance than a RO system. Is this a typo on the website ?
Can a reverse osmosis membrane be added before the mineralisation stage ? Would this addition remove ALL poisons from the tap water ? What about adding an extra carbon stage before the ceramic filter stage ? Can this be done as well ? All counter top of course...
No. You would end up with too little pressure after the membrane to push thru the rest of the filters. There isn't a carbon filter that will do more than what our ceramic cartridge does. The only way you get 100% removal would be distillation and those are maintenance intensive and not convenient to use.
Shouldn't the white feed tube be connected to the filter side, so the water first goes through the filter and then the minerals ? In the video you said it does not matter to which side you attach the white feed tube ...
It matters that the filter is first and then the minerals, but you can swap the tubing and drinking spout if needed depending on which side of the counter you are using.
I'm concerned with the short exposure of the water with the remin filter by placing it as last stage before the faucet. It would make much more sense to have the water pass through the filter as it slowly heads to the tank, but then there's this two-way flow towards and back from the tank you mention that defeats the purpose. Would it still be possible to place the filter somewhere between the membrane and the tank that could ensure a slower and therefore more efficient release of minerals from it?
Update: Oh, I see there's a Configuration #1 video that answers my question. I'll have to look at my system (which is similar to #2) and see if I can locate the point immediately beyond the membrane. Thanks!
So if I pour distilled water through the pitcher then the distilled water will be in the negative ORP ?

I tried your suggestion to connect remin filters after the membrane and before the post carbon and tank. The TDS and PH are now more stable than after the tank. I have TDS between 75-100 and PH between 6.75-7.25. It is good for coffee as Specialty Coffee Association standard.
How long does it take to fill tank ? I'm getting a air noise coming from drain ?
what are the ph drops
i've tested my RO output (Watts 5 stage) with a TDS meter and it is the same (74) and the input water. I know that years ago it was definitely reducing the TDS but now isn't. I've been changing filters regularly and I think the membrane is about 1 year old. I recently changed all the filters and the membrane looked clean. My output is excellent. The tank fills fairly quickly but I'm wondering if the output is TOO fast. WHen I empty the tank and just let the water run from the output faucet, it's a pretty stream. Could the input water be bypassing the membrane for some reason but still ending up in the storage tank and not the brine? TIA
Definitely an issue at your membrane stage. Water post membrane should be a slow trickle at best and you should see a significant reduction in TDS. Could be either the membrane isn't fully seated/sealed into the housing and the water is then bypassing it, or maybe the membrane has been damaged by chloramine/chlorine.

Hi Erwin. Not sure what you are asking. What if you use 2 of the REMINs?
So where do the toxins from the water go ? The ceramic filters can't be unplugged/cleaned out so you won;t have to buy a new one?
Either absorbed and retained by the high end carbon core or captured by the ceramic shell, which is then able to be cleaned/scrubbed off.
so once you buy the counter top filter you can just clean it after every 6- 12 months, no need for new one ?@@vitevtv

I have the same problem
Here you go, lessons I learned the hard way (my ASO value would not operate correctly): 1) Make SURE you understand the IN & OUT ports and hook up the lines correctly to ASO valve. 2) Use ONLY hard lines to interconnect (dont use clear lines from home depot, they are too soft and valve wont shutoff correctly). 3) Keep all hard tube lengths to ASO value as short as possible. 4) On all connections make sure the tubes push all the way down 5) On all post carbon filters, post filters, etc...dont plug directly into these filters, first always use a push in connector then push your tube into those connectors. I did all above and fixed my ASO value RO system operation.

Can I use this with a 3-stage sediment and carbon filter? Or does it have to specifically be an RO system?

What would cause the RO system to intermittently fill the tank overnight?
Do you mean some nights it fills and others it doesn't?
Do PH test drops work on testing skincare creams (diluted or not)?
That's a good question. We've never tried the drops on something like skin cream. Don't see why it wouldn't work considering the creams have a liquid base, but only one way to find out!
I wish you guys would include some longer tubes in this purchase. I just went to install but the red tube that's included is much too short to be added, and on the other side, the existing tube is also too short. I will have to buy more, not expensive, but why not include it?

That's more common then you might think, but a more capable filter can eliminate those as well.

If the system is running and you disconnect the tank to check cartridge the water is going flow from hose you disconnected it. How can you check one by one when water splashing.
Turn off the supply first, remove the hose and place it into another container, then turn the supply valve back on.
Why is there no information provided here or with the product on flushing requirements for first installs? I installed mine but the water coming out is pure white. Do I need to let it run for one tank first? That information would be useful to have.
Hi Dennis. That information is in the manual packaged with your REMIN. Step #8 under the installation instructions.

@@dennisd9875 That should be plenty. It might still look a little cloudy, but at this point, the cloudiness is more likely bubbles from the reaction with the minerals than mineral dust/sediment.
