It's the SDRJ helipad in Rio de Janeiro Brasil, also known as Heliponto da Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. You can see some flights in flightradar, but most of them don't have ADS-B so they won't appear.

Just curious. Are Sikorsky helicopters not sold in Brazil ?
They are sold in Brazil, there are many S76 flying here, but pretty much all of them are for offshore ops. However, a few years ago there was a private S76 that used to land at this helipad, but it was sold I think, never saw it again.

Beautiful video thank you. One suggestion, when filming rotorcraft, keep the shutter speed at around 120/1000 or less or if using Cine camera use 180 degree shutter angle to get 2x framerate. This will give you a nice rotor blur.

Maybe that was a requirement of that Paticular field and also Authorities of Civil Aviation as well for that area.
I wish this was still called the A-star 350B(B-2, B-3 etc) just because Airbus bought out AEROSPATIALE / Europcopter should not mean they change the name of their baptismal names ! That would be like Rolls Roycs (owned by BMW) called BMW Ghost, or BMW phantom...see how ridiculous that sounds? Or if Toyota bought out Cadillac....would they now be called Toyota Escalades? No, you keep it as Cadillac Escalade, now owned by Toyota.. Sorry, but I will always recognize these as Eurocopter A-stars, and that goes for the EC-120, 130 an 160, Eco-star, not Airbus...let Airbus come up with their own unique fleet and style and call it a genuine Airbus !!! OK, rant over ...

É pq ao inclinar o rotor de cauda, parte do vetor de empuxo aponta para cima ou para baixo. Isso aumenta a faixa de tolerância de centro de gravidade e também aumenta a capacidade total de peso de voo.

Why did the pilot have to taxi and turn right? He could have just lifted off.
That blue area is called touchdown and lift off area (TLOF). It is an area within heliport where obstacle is not a factor hence a safe area for takeoff and landing. On heliport and airport, TLOF is the only area where helicopters are allowed to takeoff and landing, legally.

Hi, I love all Helicopters but I am a bit of a fan of Airbus. What does the B stand for on the H160B? The quality of the video looks great and there seems to be some extra zooming going on which is really cool. Be interested to know what camera you are trying out. Thanks for all the additional info you add about the Helicopters.
Hi Ray, glad you liked the video! The H160B is the civil variant of the helicopter. And the camera is a Sony Alpha ZV-E10, still getting used to it and its settings.
@@RioHeliSpotter Looks good, the results are great, and there is a wind filter for that, I don't know if you are using it but if not it might help cut down the wind sounds from the rotors.
@@Ray-um3ifYep, I'm using the wind filter, it works very well as you can see. However depending of how the helicopter takes off there's still some wind noise, mostly on big helicopters like the H160. I also tested with a Bell 429 taking off right in front of me and the wind was very strong and could be heard on the mic. But on most occasions there's no noise at all, very clean audio.
