Hey, thanks for the comment. Honestly, this was one of my older videos where I really didn't speak in the build videos. The basic premise for this was like most builds, 1. Start with making the terrain more suitable to what you aim to build 2. Plan out how you will walk through the build, will there be paths or will you free flow 3. Remember what would be needed for the build, for this a ranch would need food for the animals and a place for them to run around. There would also be a need for housing for the ranch owner. 4. Not all space is needed for a build so don't be afraid of having an odd shape for the build and use the blank space to blend it more into the environment. I would do this last in a lot of my older builds as I would build the terrain from scratch rather than using world painter like I do now so trees help put more focus on the builds rather than the mass of leaves. @@willingredfox7554 It depends on your pc but if you want realistic lights I recommend Rethinking Voxels or Complementary Reimagined :D. What Shaders do you use btw ?

Honestly my computer is about 2 years old now. I would think it would struggle with those types of shaders but will look into it. At the minute I'm using sildur's vibrant headers v1.50 high 😁

Yeah it's funny how you panic and try not to swear at the same time 😂

@@willingredfox7554 Sorta do what you did at the end of the video except doing it as you build. Im sure there are reasons why you choose to add things at certain points, and sometimes its just cause you think it could be interesting. It goes a long way in helping the audience follow along and appreciate the details you're putting into a build
