Sean Conway is an ultra endurance athlete, author of 6 books and motivational speaker. Sean famously broke the world record for completing 105 ironmans in 105 days. He was also was the first person to swim the length of Britain, is the only person to have completed a length of Britain triathlon, has completed the world's longest triathlon of 4200 miles and has the world record for the fastest self supported cycle across europe.

I'm new to single day or short events where you don't sleep. For 12 years I've done things that are weeks or months long. I'm enjoying this new challenge of the shorter stuff but Ive a long way to go to get where I want to be.

I LOVE this! When our girls were little I used to take them on micro-adventures like this while my wife worked weekends. Nowadays they have little time for such things with uni, work and commitments elsewhere (was I ever that busy as a teenager?). But, I do have my dogs and near me is a dry riverbed that too has flowing water upstream so I might just go and do this myself - inspired by you!

Sean, question: What does he mean by centerline and bow? Is it a line in the center of your body that runs navel to head through the core of your body or a line that is painted on the front of your body from your navel to your forehead? Then, Is it a true bow with the middle having an apex? Where is the apex? Or, is it a bow that continually curves forward with your forehead in front of everything?

Awesome stuff Sean! My favourite quote of yours from this video was, "I'm .1 of a k in and I'm already knackered." That gave me a good laugh. I'm pretty sure no one else in the race was busy trying to complete the 496 Challenge awhile doing the MTB race at the same time. Thanks for inspiring us to dig deeper, push harder and go farther!
