    Can you not bridge the black wire from the light switch to also power the fan?

    Can you install two transfer switches one to power 10 and the other to power 10? I sure wish they made these bigger and as manual ones.

    Could also possibly pull one of the existing electrical wires up the hole like a pull string with your current Romex attached. Then pull the existing back down with the new cable.

    If you installed the flex hose in the attic, I think it should be of the insulated type. Condensation can build up on that uninsulated hose in cold weather.

    At 10:23 why did you leave the tab in the center? Do you HAVE to leave it in or would it make a difference if you remove that tab for this particular wiring job?

    Hi, a single phase house has an L1 and an L2, each being 120V. If you had 2 generators (the little suitcase inverter types), is there a way to power up the main panel, with L1 being fed from one generator, and L2 being fed from the other generator? Keep in mind they'd be sharing the neutral in this case. The 2 generators would need to be kept synchronized 180 degrees out of phase. Is there a way to set up such a system?

    Buen video. Es exactamente lo que tengo que hacer en mi proyecto de un baño que estoy reconstruyendo. No soy electricista pero he llevado electricidad y magnetismo y sistemas digitales y circuitos AC/DC en la escuela. Mi problema es con los códigos, creo que el 12/2 como mencionaste es suficiente. Tengo 1800 watts disponibles.

    Do you have to be a licensed electrician to install?

    • @leafelectricllc5526
      @leafelectricllc5526 Před 2 lety

      Yes, it is highly recommended to get a licensed and insured electrician for an installation like this or any electrical installation. Electrical is a very delicate trade and a minor mistake can cost a lot of money or even be a life hazard. An electrical fire can happen with the smallest thing. Have a great day and thanks for watching. Be safe!

    Good jobs. Hi, when using power from the generator, do we need to turn off the main breaker or not?

    • @hokmed4787
      @hokmed4787 Před 2 lety

      Yes it is very important to switch main breaker off you will keep the linemen working on restoring your power safe

    • @frankjacks6362
      @frankjacks6362 Před 2 lety

      Not with a transfer switch. The circuits you power with the generator will be isolated from the main when they are swithed to the generator and vise versa with the line voltage.
