though I will say, I got nothing good from the present so the run was dead anyway, I just wanted to kill the shopkeeper in the bear trap for fun (which I successfully did)

The general idea (I think) is that the drill pushes the lava out of the way briefly so you can dodge the lava if you follow close behind the drill, that and liquids in this game are extremely janky not exactly sure how it works but all I know is that it does and that is my best guess on why

this game is difficult, don't give up! you'll get to CO eventually :) and also btw, sacrificing living things on kali altars doesn't count as a kill so you could do it in a pacifist run, its just not helpful in a low% context since you can't use any of the items

this took about 2 and a half days of doing basically nothing except working on this, but it wouldve taken longer if i took the time to optimize it more since this can definitely be improved by a lot Spencer_PK did a regular CO TAS (with items) and iirc he said it took a week of on and off work, that run is pretty fun and i would recommend his channel if you like these TASes

well resources are good for either getting unreachable orbs or making things faster, any TAS in general will end with 0 resources (assuming there are places to use said resources to save time), not necessarily cursed though lol although resource usage was not great in this TAS (the 1-4 rope is definitely not optimal)

no, orange frogs bouncing back and forth like that pretty much never kill you if hundun is standing still. its not super rare to see so i dont get scared of the orange frog unless it somehow manages to fall onto the spikes, in which case it could cause issues depending on where it landed and what phase of the hundun fight youre on

@umruan1 there's a lot of cool pacifist tech in this game and that's one of them Whipping the magmar pots can also be pretty helpful in regular runs too

I would not recommend trying this nuclear waste dump of a category lol you can still do regular no% sunken city though, that category can be pretty fun imo but no% bubbleskip is a bit tricky to learn. GL if you decide to try it!
