Awesome build dude!!! :)- I am actively going into van life by the end of the year and I have been doing a lot of research but have not yet decided on what kind of vehicle to go with whether it is a van or a tiny school bus but Kudos to you for your work!!

correction ypu can through away no 2...its no differant than people who pick up there dog poo woth a dog bag and toss it in the trash Or is your poo in a bag put in a trash can than a baby diaper full off poo tossed in a trash can there cant legally be a sepwtation between the 3 poo's ....its all poo waste, right...Blessings

You did a good job, son. I got rid of our 10 Tundra 4WD. 8mpg city and 15mpg highway was eating us out of house and home. But I do love my 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the premium and technology pkgs. After installing the OTT and a cold air intake, my 3.5L V6 now has 318 horsepower and 295 lb ft of torque at 2,300 RPM and I’m getting 22 mpg at 82 mph with the cruise set.

Was it worth not doing a floor how much cold radiates through in the winter want to do something similar debating on the floor or not though

I want to build something like this, I have a 2015 chevy silverado nice blue in color. I think it's either a 6 or 8 ft bed, I'd like to have the Minnesota lakes and the north shore incorporated along side the camper and the front half of the roof cap

With that much weight its not going very far - I went thru 2 engines on one that age with less weight than you have there. Those rigs aren't meant to carry a lot of weight. Maybe have it towed to a permanent resting place and just use it as a home.

Great van, like the use of space. Im trying to decide if I want to go van or box truck. I love the ease of the van but like the living space in the box truck.

I have a (90k) cargo van that i bought for 40% of its value. Tore out the orignal rubber/sound-insulated carpet. The shelves stated, the divider cage didn't. Bunji cord looped thriugh the top edge of a bed sheet is a pull curtain. Left a 1foot gap to floor - airflow, ease to grab stuff up front, less fabric flapping & brcase its easier for my two dogs (65&40lb) tp gain access to front. EXCELLENT security guards. 🗡️ 🔪 I have 6 knives strategically placed throughout the van for easy access 😄 What??? I like cheese blocks 🧀 😋 and i dont like intruders 🩸🤕 Packing cubes for my clothes placed on the shelves and secured in by bunji cords lengthwise. Free 15" hybrid XL twin mattress & ikea slats box platform (lift the mattress, roll back the slats, 8" of full bed storage underneath. BEST PURCHASE; $600 Power Station battery 🔋 Bluetti AC180 1137watt hours. Fully charged in 45min by extension cord - YOU FIND OUTLETS 🔌 EVERYWHERE. Buddy upgraded his van so i inherited two 100 watt panels that connect right to Bluetti 🔵 which has the inverter built in (no thought 🤔 🧐 needed electricity) Triple leve shelf behind driver seat; Plastc 3 drawer box (CL free) holds my dry food,2 plates, 2 bowls and utensils. Under that is s 600 watt microwave. And at the bottom, 4" off the floor is my college style mini fridge running 120v (via 🔵 AC180) The 4" allows air vent & unimpeded door swing. *Frozen? Aside from being a children's movie 🎥 🍿, I have no need to freeze anything - ice cream by the pint at grocery store when i want a treat 🍦 🍨 Mounted by the left bay door is a kitchen size sink (big!) with a two 5 gallon water jugs (free) for fresh & grey. Battery powered water spouts ($3 at discount store) that fits the 5 gallon fresh. Simple drain hose for grey 🩶. Why the big sink? Cant wash a regular plate Very easily in a bathroom sink. Plug the sink, little water, soap wash. Unplug, drain, rinse. Less than a gallon of water! Porta John tucked under the bed is my emergency (🌮 🌯) bathroom. Planet Shower 🚿 gym membership. Roof vent Maxxfan is NECESSARY for airflow! Additional fans too. Two battery 🔋 USB recharged. One 12v cig outlet (4watts but damn powerful) And a mofo fan pulling 38watts off Bluetti 🔵 but si eorth it on warm days. *I prefer 70-74 day and 55-58 night. Lastly, rrplaced on trar door solid glass window with pop/tilt out - the rear ventilation is key. Front door windows have a metal screen that i created; Drilled through the interior of the door frame (window down) so I could put bolts through from outside, sturdy screen mesh inside & secure them with wing nuts. The windows are ALL THE WAY down most if the time. If i keave the dogs, there's so much airflow and ventilation. Rooftop has two wood planks comnected to roof bars Boocjs the sun frim hitting the roof (avoids baking van) and is where o secured the solar paneks, yakima coffin ⚰️ box storage and the catch cage for my weatherproof bag that holds cold weather gear. $850/mo rent is avoided each month. $25/mo for gym Fuel ⛽ ($1 to $1.50/gallon saved - long story -marketing trick) Electricity 🌞 🔌 is free or outlet when needed. Electric scooter 🛴 (45mph) saves on unnecessary van trips & pulls a flat cart (🐕‍🦺🐕) with ease. I work remotely & travel to event sites so this lifestyle is ideal 😁

Things look good with this camper . But i cant understand why would anyone need the entire back to open ?? A camper needs a door for a " person " To pass through , Just an opinion . Can you give a good reason ??
