I wish the color grades weren't so wildly different. The 4k quality is gorgeous but that dark muddy green inside the dojo is not my preference.

Blu-ray and 4K looked too washed out here. 4K colors are horrendous in this movie. Dvd got the right contrast

Why all 4k uhd movies i had seen had this uncanny color grading and looks weird than the blu-ray or dvd releasea. This one i agreed dvd looks better.

Came to see the comparison, stayed for the whole fight.

The 3 formats look good, but I think the 4K ends up being a reinterpretation of what the director intended for this film. Artistically, it seems fine to me, but it distorts the original work of the producers.

Thanks for the Comparison. This is once again a great example of the Myth which is that 4K is four times better quality than Blu Ray.The DVD had an overall better look than 4 K.

Great video title. At first though I thought it was Resurrections and thought “Oh well it’s just a test”. Then I realized the title without even looking when I saw it was Matrix 1 footage.

Blu-Ray is good despite the brightness. DVD is the best. And the 4K looks totally off.

Dvd looks the best overal especially for natural colour. The blu ray is more detailed, but contrast is way too high. 4k looks crap. Dvd for the win.

The DVD looks closest to the theatrical experience that I remember.

4k bluray needs to be tone-mapped from hdr to sdr to look properly in video. 4k bluray looks much better than bluray and dvd and this video loses all that

DVD = perfect. Blu-Ray = good but looks like 2010-ish. 4K = shitty Instagram filter applied on Blu-Ray.

DVD quality looks the best. Blu ray might look sharper but the picture quality is too bright. 4K is too dark and not much different than DVD.

Bruray quality is nice, but i prefer dvd.

EEWWW!!! What happened to the 4K!? I just bought that, and I heard it was an improved color grade over the Blu-ray… looks way worse here! (I only have an HD TV atm, but maybe I’ll test this… or maybe I’ll sell it before I open the shrink wrap…) Hopefully like someone has said, it looks A LOT better when playing on an HDR capable screen.

Bad comparison and little information, where is the "D-VHS" that was created in 1997, with quality superior to Blu-ray that is from 2005???????

I have the 4k version, the colors you see there are not accurate, especially HDR makes all the color pop

4k is the worst, it lower down all the colors and makes it darker somehow. Imagine when scenes takes place in night time. YIKES...!!!!

after a little bit i stopped paying attention to the format changes and was just enjoying the scene lol
