I think I'm misunderstanding. Did you mean to say you get 1 to 1 and a half dozen eggs a day from your 14 hens?
@@haddicroy3596 we get about a dozen- sometimes we get 14 sometimes 12 sometimes less lol it varies. 14 isn’t quite 1 and a half dozen- but we’ve lost a few chickens recently so our egg collection has changed a bit.

@@haddicroy3596 yes it is- we had a pretty big flock and then I believe we’ve lost most of them to a fox…so we’re trying to get them protected and build our flock back up currently 💗

@@barbarapeterson8030 Happy Thursday to you too Barbara!!! 😄 I homeschooled for a little while- right now I do not- we live in a pretty conservative community (thankfully) however- I consider it every year…I just go year by year and see how things are going etc. but it’s not to say that I won’t in the future. @@barbarapeterson8030 so far, we have had positive outcomes with school- and my children really love it, their friends, and their teachers as well 💗 so as long as I feel like they are doing well- we stick with it 😄

Pigs are very clean animals. They do not 'thrive' in a dirty area. Make sure they have a dry area and a watering hole to get clean in, My pig would keep himself warm and fly free with mud, but then always kept himself clean with a water bath. The area should be dry, as there can be parasites and worms where it is too wet. Going to check out some of your other videos. Very nice. God bless.

I want to plant apple trees as well but hate how long they will take to start producing. I have read that if you plant dwarf apple trees they start producing fruit a few years sooner so I might go with those:)
I know- it’s kinda a bummer, but I’m sure in a few years we will be happy we planted them when we did :) you should definitely get you some dwarfs!!! We’ve got an apple orchard in our town that has been passed down for generations- I love driving by it and seeing how many apple trees they have, it’s so beautiful! An investment in the future 🌳

I sooo needed this today. I’m new to the SAHM/Homemaker life and it’s been a tough adjustment going from working outside the home and gaining recognition to now feeling like no one notices what I do.
