I-131 Treatment for Feline Hyperthyroidism
My cat Lucky was recently diagnosed with feline hyperthyroidism and was also diagnosed with feline hypertension as a result. The treatment route we have decided to take is the I-131 therapy or radioactive iodine therapy! It is the most effective form of therapy, is cheaper in the long run, and the are very minimal risks that come with it unlike medications! I wanted to document our journey to share with anyone who may be going through the same thing with their cat! DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a vet and this is NOT medical advice! Hi Allie , thank you so much for this video. For the 30 Ceu s that are not AAMA approved can it it be all clinical or like combination of clinical and general because it hard to find any free admin one
They can be any category! I believe mine were all general for the non-AAMA ones! I’ve never found a free admin one which kind of sucks because it would be great to freshen up on!
What have to do if u miss one dose at night?
I just take it the next night instead! It’s not a medication you take everyday!

I tried submitting a few free CEUs from Medscape and they were not approved.
I had that issue too a while back! You have to make sure the certificate says the credit hour awarded! It physically has to have the word hour somewhere on it!

Was the pain like getting stabbed with a knife as many people described it?

Take it before you sleep i’m a nurse but i also have a prolactinoma and my endocrinologist says to take it before sleep to minimize te side effects. sorry for my English I’m from Belgium.
I started doing that after my endo recommended it too! It didn’t make that much of a difference unfortunately and now I’m on a completely different medication!
i just had covid they put me on molnupiravir i was good after 5 days ,i do take zinc and vitamin d and i still got a mild case of covid
