How do connect ramps to a platform... Mine will not snap

I know this is an old video now but i still love this ship and use it often when I am playing a game. One minor suggestion, when he puts together the last touches on top of the ship and he places the Deimos spine C variant twice in a row, it actually looks much better if you flip the second one so it goes on backwards. It then joins much more seamlessly with the C variant in front of it.

Don't these ships have life pods.. to escape destruction.

Make a mod for it prebuilt trust me it’ll be in the highest rated list on the mods mods menu and it LOOKS INSANE but I couldn’t build it cuz I didn’t have the correct parts

This game is janky and full of just stupid fucking mechanics. No option to flip a vehicle, can't glide immediately after jumping from the bus, heat and cold damage when I'm made of fucking plastic, terrible building/placing mechanics, poor inventory U.I. the list goes on and on. The first 3 minutes of this video is him just trying to place a flat fucking foundation, but it is so cumbersome and fiddly, it's unenjoyable and nothing like Lego. It looks like Lego, but this ain't Lego.

I have liked quivern since the very beginning but I recently decided to breed a great one. I think one of my favorite things about quivern is how you approach a boss room with the ominous name "domain of the winged tyrant" and when you catch the thing you get a paldeck entry about how much it enjoys cuddling. Plus as a kid I quite liked dragonite and have a thing for "friendly dragons"

There is a bridge mod you guys. Could have saved me hours over the original foundation way to connect islands 😊🫠

I guess you have a mod that allows building of larger ships. Looks way longer than what’s allowed in the vanilla game.

I’ve been obsessed with the ship building aspect of this game and it took me a while to figure out the bug that would allow you to put a part in a position in the red but wouldn’t activate the “ship module not attached” error they have since patched that little glitch which sux because many of these ship designs I see rely on that glitch.

These designs exceed 40m in length, height & width. Without mods Really hope that Bethesda would increase the LHW by another 40m, these landing pads can easily fit ships at a max of 100 meters, tested it with mods and had no issues, not even lag. But they most likely never will :( Bethesda is always about limitations and restrictions.

My design is probably the cheapest possible, but it's extremely effective. All you need is two long poles on top of each other, add a piece of floor in the middle, another at the top and your tower is ready to be armed. I prefer a heavy machine gun at each corner of each piece of floor, positioned so that the arcs of fire overlap each other a bit. You should now have every place within machine gun range covered by 2-4 machine guns. To prevent enemies from hiding behind obstacles and to create some crossfire, I build another ultralight tower at another corner of the settlement. If there's room enough, adding a third and a fourth tower is usually enough to make your settlement unassailable. If you have some buildings or improvements that need extra protection, just add machine guns according to taste. If you think one thin pole is too flimsy to endure an attack, remember it's too thin for most enemies to even hit and there's no way your enemies could use it for cover. One pole also takes up just a minimal amount of land, you can actually farm the land under your tower and it doesn't obstruct your settlers in any way.

I have my missile tower at Red Rocket so high, it sometimes takes out enemies at Sanctuary.😂

Dude I'm looking for inspiration for a sci-fi themed based to build when aberration drops, I love to build and I'm struggling to fit aberrations feel. Any tips, links, or quick shell builds to help?

Hmmm.... interesting. what I do is build a tube based on 3 rows of 2 floors with Warehouse walls. On the sides I have "stacked" scaffolding using small floors where it steps up for each small floor. On each floor I have a heavy turret. Around the outside of my operational areas I have snappable junk fences courtesy of the Creation Club. The idea is that the enemies try to penetrate through a gun gauntlet. In the higher zones I add missile turrets. I used to do simple defence towers comprised of machinegun rows either side with a long stair to hold floors for rocket turrets but facilities need protection. I do try to put the entry tube in front of one spawn point so that at least one set is killed immediately.

No criticism of your method but, 10:53 I prefer missiles turrets placed higher. Even if they miss, they hit the ground around attackers doing splash damage.

Just to comment on the foundation stuff... At least for PC. If you click into build and then go to abandon - It will drop the plans and leave you with the foundation to do with as you please without having to damage any of it.

This video was very helpful as I'm trying to build a "Warehouse" for all my storage and crafting things. If that goes well I may build a "garage" and build all 3 vehicles. My problem is I can't find level ground say for the garage so the cars can just drive in. Got any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. Would love to see more "How To" video's as I'm trying to learn on the fly.
