don't think so, I see stains on most cars, even bug etching. I have extreme lighting in my garage you probably wouldnt be seeing this outside in the sun. cheers max

Hey Roger thank you for tuning in, you're not the first one to mention the fact that PO has a light protection component. We can test it further if you want, but on hard plastic it doesn't leave or change the finish so I doubt it would on leather. I want to agree with you but with all the testing that I have done PO lacks power for extra dirty cars in my experiences even at 5:1. It's built to maintain fairly clean cars, it has limitations in other words, this is why its PH neutral. The guys over at KCX USA likes to mix with greenstar for this exact reason. I like the product to clean my steering weekly with a damp towel it's great. Don't forget scrub pads can be abrasive even they tell you they arent.

Yes happens all the time if the acidic poo bakes in the hot sun. Ceramic coatings are prone to stains like regular clear coat.

To your point yes this why I've been using alot of 1 year coating in the past for that exact same reason, I've had to polish a few panel with 3 or 5 year coating in the past it kinds of defeat the purpose. It's just part of the game we play I guess and no not yet, Cquartz 3.0 had water spots all over, Gtech CSL had problem too here and there. I still have to find something that would resist a oven baked poo or water spots if such a thing exist. I have a few coating to test next and a pro only coating from BOLA. I'll probably do that in the Fall and follow up on that. You have a good rest of your week-end. cheers

Very good question! It's hard to tell, if it does it would be very light in some situation, to avoid that possibility, the pre-wash would soften and encapsulate the dirt particles then rinsed with a pressure washer more gently in a sense. hope that helps. Cheers my friend and thanks for watching.

Oh and i love Perfect Finish, it's such a great finishing polish, it's hard to beat it really, tested a few and honestly? They don't come close, I never had problems with the supposed fillers in it, show me a polish that has none of them..

hey Vic the most finicky problem is the water spots for sure. I have a few very light I think it's the engine heat that heat up the hood panel and bake those in the clear without us noticing. The best way is sanding after a water spot remover to make sure you dont swell the paint but yeah foam pads usually dont do much in the long run although its a good place to start. Dealers my man, as we already we need to stay away as much as possible from these guys. Hope your bimmer is well cheers :)

yeah I love it, although its price has skyrocketed i have been faithful for years. Polishes have oils and component to make the product work and the actually filling is unintentional. Cya Vic thank you for watching

@@Detailing_Dogma Sanding is my next level, i need to muster the curage to do it, but give me a little time and with your tutorials i will do it :) Today after a nice drive i felt the heat from the hood and thought the same (im trying to avoid the sun baking the panel hot as i just applied MOHS to it and don't want any waterspots reapear damn it..). Man did i tell you i absolutely ADORE your BMW and your paint colour? It's amazing, i have Portimao but it's a lighter blue i think i like yours more but still mine is not so bad, i like how it changes hue in different light from dark to a little lighter (almost like paralescentic), and the body kit on yours is just savage! I must say Gyeon Pure (i applied all of Gyeon coatings exept from the pro) is the best for your paint, the gloss is insane! Cheers!

I used the wet sand in this one but I do dry from time to time. The discs dont need alot of water, you don't want too much.

Hey man, I agree BMW is one of the few with superb metallic paints with many different option other than typical black white grey. I cant comment on your phenomenon, first time I hear that. I'm not sure exactly but I think I cleaned the poo the same day. I use every cleaners I had on hands such as soap, APC and Tar remover, it was deep and etched nothing would touch it. Compounded the same day I think, then it came back I guess the friction swole the paint and then waited 2 weeks to sand it give or take.

forgot to tell you, this one is San Marino Blau, it's a throwback for an older M6 and M3 color. More purply blue and light in the sun. Individual color for the Canadian M performance edition only 2021. cheers

Hey man thanks for hoping on the channel as usual, unfortunately swirl marks needs to be polished, by hand it's gonna be difficult IMO unless you find a hand polishing system which I don't think it's realistic unless you polish very tiny area. You can try to hide them with a wax like PoorBoys blackhole or other high filling waxes but only a short term solution. I'd look into polishing if you were in the long run. Cheers. ✌

@@rockhills well I'll have a video on it soon. Its more versatile and. clean leather like a charm. Also smell really good it does everything Gyeon detailer does but has actual cleaning power. The gyeon is more for very light wipe down, dont get wrong its good and nice to use but Pilot takes it to another level imo. Works on glossy trims and info screen streak free. The InnerQD and Int detailer wont do much on leather from my experience.

Hey Tom, yes I tested it in the car. Zero slip to them. This is why I prefer those over GUF.
