Sad to see these birds in cages. They are wild around my house and they talk to me. They also warn the monkeys when I'm walking down the trail. But to see them in cages is a sad sight.

I knew a guy when i was a in my 20's who had a mynah bird and it was amazing. Repeat everything you said first time. Very cool and beautiful birds. ❤

Imagine just walking through the woods at night, and you hear a coughing baby somewhere. You would never suspect some random bird to do this. You would just walk around looking for a coughing baby. This bird is creepy AF.

Dude! That's super cool. I'm so jealous. Thresher sharks are right near the top of my "bucket list" animals to dive with, especially in terms of sharks. I live in CT, and rarely get to other places(and even less often get to go on dives in these places), so virtually all my shark dives have been out of Point Judith, RI and to a lesser extent Montauk, NY(as it's a pain in the ass to get there, consisting either of driving all the way around to NYC, and then all along Long Island, or doing it the other way and taking two ferry rides.) 99% of the sharks we see are blues and makos(and for some reason, especially RI, all the makos are juveniles, like 4 or 5 ft long.) We do get the occasional basking shark, but they of course don't stick around, and when the Gulf stream is running in mid-late summer and water temps get up to 75°(at least offshore), you'll get the occasional tiger or hammerhead, but ever since I was a kid I've wanted to dive with threshers. They are just such a unique animal. I've always wanted to get to see a really big one too. I've seen photos of enormous common thresher sharks(meaning on the dock after being caught 😥), and the other day I looked it up, and the longest thresher shark ever recorded(including the tail of course) was 25 freaking feet. I thought 20ft was the max, and wasn't even sure if lengths of 20 ft were accurate/reliable. I also found an example of a 1100-1200lb thresher. I mean imagine diving with a thresher shark the size of a tiger shark!

Very nice filming! So, Santa Teresa maybe not the first that comes to your mind when thinking "favela". There are a lot of tourist tours visiting Rocinha. Everyone watching the same viewpoint, visiting a "genuine" - mostly the same - favela house etc. S Teresa more mixed, probably more known for the old tram and the Lapa party district. Complexo do Alemao...? Yes, Rio has a northern part too, maybe not visited by so many foreigners. But you should go here to if you want to find out what´s real Rio, far away from Leblon, posto 12!
