    At the same time this task force was in force the governor was having elders and disabled people together with covid patients in nursing and group homes. Causing the deaths of many human beings.

    I feel Nichigan has broken basic human rights doctrine in an almost absolute capacity. Between nursing home deaths to horrible living conditions to outright ignoring open victimization within the disability assistance industry to blinket protections for doctors though the fda only offered in Michigan to landlord tennet laws that allow for lethal conditions to take shape. Michigan I believe firmly is the worst in the union. We are the only state that got a need intervention rating for our special needs programs in schools in the whole union under the reduced guildlines of the trump administration.

    MY RESPONSE TO HATE: I want to report Michigan representative Rashida Talib for hate speech, encouraging the murderous barbaric hate crime acts of the terrorist group Hamas, against Jews and their supporters. She is not fit to represent taxpayers as she is full of hatred and condones acts of violence and should be immediately removed from office.

    Puhleease. What of the plethora a hate propagated and encouraged against white people these last few years? I experience it almost every day here in Lansing, depending upon where I choose to frequent or shop, etc. It is much more prevalent and openly condoned than very much "supposed" white supremacy EVER was in America. Besides, hate is not a crime in and of itself, though ya'll would love to make it so (but only against whites, of course). It is racist to ascribe more punishment to a white person for violent crime than a black would recieve, regardless of intent. That, itself, should be a crime. That IS a crime. Ya'll are no more a victim than the rest of us. Get over yourselves, and move on.

    Setting: 2 people are on a Zoom video call. Person 1: Hi! How are you? Person 2: Awful! Someone told my landlord my mother has COVID-19 and now he is accusing me of having it! He told me to pack up and move out! Person 1: Oh no! That is wrong! You should file a complaint with the Michigan Department of Civil Rights because that violates Fair Housing Laws! Person 2: Really? How do I get in contact with them? Person 1: Call their VP number, 313-437-7035, or you can email them at doddbhh@michigan.gov. Person 2: Oh, I see. I'll do that. Thank you! Person 1: No problem. Hope it works out. Person 2: Thanks. [Fade out to the MDCR Logo and contact info and tag line “Fair Housing: The law is on your side.”]

    Justice for disabled elders in America is a SICK GIGANTIC JOKE. I'm now 75+, had a disability all my adult life which caused me to be denied military service & live alone. I've reported elder crimes for 5+ years including multiple felonies by a confidence guy from Portland Oregon who admits in writing he's known I'm disabled, dealing with serious life threatening health issues, old & live alone ...yet he not only stripped me of whatever he could get his hands on while I was laying on an ER gurney... he then did all he could to trip me up in his revenge making my life a living hell because others demanded accountability & reprimanded him for his abuse, fraud and manipulation of a sick elder .....and authorities do NOTHING after being repeatedly told of this con-artist caused my Soc. Sec funds to be blocked, missing Soc. Sec under his control or direction, his Postal Fraud, his attempted extortion, his abuse, manipulation of a sick elder for his personal agenda, Class "C" grand larceny theft of my property, neglect, & scams. Far wonder, Oregon is now the worse state for any elder to even pass through even with documented proof, this guy laughs all the way to my bank and controls. Elders get no holidays nor coffee break from abuse, manipulations & fraud ...we live with it 24/7 ..365 JUSTICE DELAYED ...IS JUSTICE DENIED EVEN MORE SO FOR THE ELDERLY.... IT'S CRUEL TORTURE. Please, don't just say how bad it is .....get ALL elders real help NOW .....REAL JUSTICE NOW !!!! ...before these con-artist kill us off. God will bless you for indicting these creeps as that IS the only way to halt elder exploitation.

    Transcript: If I had COVID-19, do I still need the vaccine? Aren’t I immune? You should still get the COVID-19 vaccine, even if you have had COVID-19. There is not enough information currently available to say if or for how long after infection someone is protected from getting COVID-19 again (called “natural immunity”). Early evidence suggests natural immunity from COVID-19 may not last very long, but more studies are needed to determine this.

  • @micivilrights

    Transcript: I have a disability. Can I schedule an appointment? First, review the MDHHS prioritization guidance to see if you are eligible for the vaccine. Based on your age and risk, you will fit into one of the priority groups and phases. You can also keep up with the latest information about priority groups through various media outlets. Be sure to speak with your primary care provider about any questions or concerns you may have regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. They know your medical history best and can help you determine which priority group you are in based on your risk level.

    Transcript: Why do some vaccines require two shots? The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines need two shots to be effective. The first shot prepares the immune system to recognize the virus, and the second shot strengthens the immune system. If you are receiving a 2-dose vaccine, it is very important to receive the vaccine from the same manufacturer both times and within the required time frame to ensure the best protection from COVID-19. The second dose of the Pfizer vaccine must be 21 days after the first dose; the second dose of the Moderna vaccine must be 28 days after the first.

  • @micivilrights
    @micivilrights Před 3 lety

    Transcript: Will I have to quarantine and miss work after I get the vaccine? Getting the vaccine does not require quarantine, but it typically takes a few weeks for the body to build an immune response after getting the vaccine. This means it’s possible you could be infected with COVID-19 just before or after vaccination. If you believe you have been exposed or are having symptoms you should quarantine until you talk to your doctor and get tested. Do not work until you receive your results and quarantine timeline.

  • @micivilrights
    @micivilrights Před 3 lety

    Transcript: Can the current COVID-19 vaccines give me COVID-19? No. The current vaccines available give your body instructions which help it recognize the virus, so our body can fight it off in the future. None of the authorized and recommended COVID-19 vaccines nor any of the COVID-19 vaccines current in development in the U.S. contain the live virus that causes COVID-19. This means that a COVID-19 vaccine cannot make you sick with COVID-19.

  • @micivilrights
    @micivilrights Před 3 lety

    Transcript: Can I still get COVID-19 between my first and second shot? Yes. For the COVID-19 vaccines that are a 2-dose series, both shots are needed for the best protection, and it will take about 2 wees after the second dose before you receive this level of protection. Because one dose does not provide full immunity, it is possible to become infected with the virus between doses. Continue to wear your mask and social distance before and after your first and second doses to protect yourself and your community.

(If you are uninsured, this fee will come from the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Provider’s Relief Fund, NOT you.)
