3:15 if you're right about him holding block and then inputting buttons to do the slide slash, then that's really relieving because that move exists in Rise as the Y+B button inputs, but if you do it in the middle of a combo you just get a Roundslash. Imo the Roundslash is part of the SnS's core identity so them removing it would be really heartbreaking to me. If you need to block to do this move, or if he was already done with his combo (it's hard to tell because a lot of inputs get purposely delayed in the showcase video) then there's a chance the Roundslash is still built into the weapon and this is just an extra move the weapon got. Either way, thanks for trying to do an in-depth breakdown and not just a reaction video.
it could be the block or Y+B I think holding block and using another input would better. the sns blocking attack is trash so they probable replaced it is what im thinking
@@KrokThrasher Oh true i actually completely forgot about the Guard Slash because it's so irrelevant that my brain decided to wipe it from my memory, and I don't mess up the backstep anymore so I rarely ever notice it ever exists. If that's the case, then I'm super excited about them removing it and finally replacing it with something that could be actually useful. Still, not seeing any Roundslashes in the showcase is kinda weird. I guess we'll just have to wait for the demo to get our questions answers.
2:07 that overhead side step attack might be the new forward slash Y+B to jump forward attack. They really didn't show a lot here 😅 sorry, there's definitely more that they're not showing and potential special attacks
Roundslash will be in game trust they won't take that out that's a really good finisher for sns😮

Great runes can be sensed im pretty sure also she can lock on to us and its a game so anything can be written. but ill give you it
To be fair to From Software, if they wanted to make a lore accurate change to the base game post DLC, the ENTIRE Haligtree area would need to be changed, and there wouldn't even be a reason to find Malenia here in the first place. When Miquella broke his rune, his charm fell off, so everyone who was previously charmed no longer was (until he return to Radahn/Mogh's body and charms them again). So everyone in the Haligtree would be fighting each other, and Malenia would probably just f-off to the Erdtree, and that can break the entire game. Not saying it couldn't be done, but From is really good at setting their limits and not over-stretching. So lore-wise this just means that the DLC is canonically set after all of these fights.

@@KrokThrasher Having a cutscene where Malenia acknowledges the DLC without major changes to the Haligtree would incur a plothole. Sif recognizing you from his past is not a problem, it doesn't change anything else about the game, but Miquella's actions are way too impactful. I too like those nods to the player, but it just doesn't fit this situation.

When you acquire multiple great runes you don't tell anyone that you have multiple great runes somehow they just know that you have it
My guess is those with runes have a perceptible aura. That those with some degree of discernment can register the divine power of those that carry the runes. It is not something most seem to be able to do. Many just seem to register you are tarnished and then fall back on whatever bias they have about that. About the only people who comment about quantity are those with some familiarity with the matter.

Bro, I am so confused. I've been to all these locations, and I'm still missing 1. I've been back and forth to all these locations several dozen times now and I still cant figure out which one im missing.
I had your same problem, maybe they switched position of some items in the early patches. I found my missing pot in Bonny Gaol. Just after going past the grace there will be the stone platform with the flesh monster guarding the area. Instead of going through any door, look below. You'll find some pots you can jump down to reach a secret area below. In one of the two rooms there should be the Hefty Pot.
@cammyshill3099 I finally found my last one. It was in Berulat Gaol. I apparently didn't grab both pots that were in that location with 2. But man I went to that spot so many times it felt like I was going insane.

Guys, in the wiki it's written wrong, if you're using a Hefty Fire Pot it will NOT work, the wiki says Hefty Fire Pot, you NEED a Hefty FURNACE Pot !! I did this mistake and i was wondering why it's not working. Make sure it's a Hefty FURNACE pot! :D
