Awesome capture of train leaving Amtrak Train Station in Hudson southbound! There are many awesome hiking locations along the Hudson River you can see Amtrak Train passing by! Example? Greenport Conservation Area! Yea! Hahahahaha! 😇

My buddy Mike lives close to the Hudson and sends me pictures he takes from his Kayak and walking adventures. He mostly sticks to boating the wetlands and walks the wooded areas keeping out of the way of shipping traffic. This video is fantastic and shows how beautiful it is. Until I can afford to visit it's nice to see it anyway I can.

I’ve loved Nipper forever! I even bought some records just because he was on there. Some turned out to be a good buy.Nipper lives on in our hearts. Sad to say The original RCA has been gone for 30 some years. BMG acquired it for about 30 years . General Electric owned the rights to Nippers likeness . The companies America owned over 100 years is owned by Sony . A company from Japan . They bought The complete RCA and Columbia rights and ownership. They use the name and logo on their products on anything with RCA . The company isn’t American owned now but , too bad Sony. Nipper is as American as it gets!

Went to Taconic Hills 79-83. It is sad to see this school in disarray.

I remember this school. Grew up 2 miles down the road from Philmont and 1 mile from Ockawamick High School. I was [[ like many other kids ]] caught up in the 1971 -1972 crossover when the 2 school Districts were joined into one High School, Taconic Hills. I've been gone for 51 years and it is sad to see Roeliff Jansen in this condition. I'd love to also see the old Ockawamick School building and to know what became of it. Or perhaps, I don't really want to know.......Thumbs up to Glen Wheeler Drone.

Great catch...

Urban adventure people went in before the demolition. Found old dried animal blood in one of the pipes they used to flush out the blood drains when they slaughtered the pigs all the blood went in a tub and drain in the floors. They would spray the water and it would come outside of the building into another tub. I wish i could see photos of the place when it was in its heyday. You could smell this place all around Albany when they processed meat according to people of the time.
