I don't trust anything when I'm under something. I watched a man die after getting crushed due to a bottle jack falling. Turned around for 20 seconds and he climbed under. I even thought hell im not going under that, better work from above. I had to run and get help and a real jack. We had to pull his body out while waiting for emergency hoping to save him. Don't ever chance that shit. It can happen. I'd get this and still use stands with a block under a tire so it can't roll. I really respected that man a lot and feel terrible for his wife even after 2 years. I hope someone reads this and it deters them from doing the same dumb shit.

aside from the handle going nuts you also have to be dang sure the brakes are set really really well and the ground isn't liable to let the tires slip. Also no one comes up and leans against the side of the vehicle. Can't think of a worse jack to use to raise a vehicle than a hi lift.

Very smart and intuitive invention. This will prevent a lot of engineers from being crushed under cars. My buddy back in 2015 was killed after working on a truck, he was using a flimsy car jack and it gave out.
