We are lay Buddhist practitioners following the Tibetan spiritual leader Khenpo Sodargye of the Longchen Nyingtik Nyingma lineage. The structure of our studies follow the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy.
We meet regularly to learn and discuss Buddhist teachings in a friendly, open, and inclusive setting. Sessions include:
* Prepared talks by senior practitioners
* Group review and discussion of Buddhist texts
* Meditation, both guided and chanting
We offer online Ngöndro(Preliminary Practice) classes. The text book is "Words of My Perfect Teacher" by Patrul Rinpoche. 94 guided meditations are also provided based on Longchenpa’s text. Both studies are interpreted by Khenpo Sodargye.
The Great Perfection (Dzogchen) is a dharma leading to enlightenment through direct mind-pointing methods.

The Brief Practice of Three Supreme Methods: The Root of the Great Vehicle by Terton Sogyal 4 - 4
Khenpo Sodargye:
This is a profound pith instruction composed by Terton Sogyal, Lerab Lingpa, which is in actuality, the root of Mahayana practice. The three supreme methods are: arousing bodhicitta at the beginning of a virtuous deed, performing the practice without any conceptualization, and dedicating the merit at the end. No matter what kind of virtuous deed you perform, if you do not apply the three supreme methods, then this deed will not become a cause to accumulate inconceivable amounts of merit and wisdom within the scope of Mahayana. Instead, it will fall under the category of a worldly deed or at best, the scope of individual liberation. If one applies the three supreme methods, then all good deeds, either large or small, can unerringly lead to perfect enlightenment.

This is an amazing display of a siddhi by a great accomplished master. It’s remarkable to hear such an incredible display of spiritual realization in today’s modern age as opposed to something from an ancient text.
