Kieran's Crane, Rigging and Construction Training
Australia
Registrace 27. 01. 2022
Kieran's Training is dedicated to helping students studying construction, safety, cranes, rigging and dogging courses. We aim to assist students with the practical aspects of their training, including tying knots, crane hand signals, crane whistle signals, slinging methods, and site hazard inspections.
We understand that while students may have access to study material for theory and calculations, the practical activities can be challenging. That's why we have developed short videos that demonstrate various techniques for rigging and slinging loads, conducting prestarts, selecting and inspecting lifting equipment, the three main crane signal methods used in rigging (two way radio, hand and whistle signals), how to operate a crane, how to tie knots and many other of the practical aspects of crane and rigging training
Make sure to like and subscribe to our channel so you can keep updated as new videos are released.

That’s was a really succinct and easy to understand video. Really clear aswell thank you very much, helped a lot!
Very good
Myself, I operate, dog and train people how to do it in Sydney nsw. I teach all my dogman to do these things as a small push to help get them into this tight knit industry, get them in and hands on when it comes to The time to set up and pack down the crane, I throw in the occasional joke, that the operator is just the dogman’s labourer 😂 you’re 100% correct but, it’s a team gig and without the other, one is useless.
Great video. Explained clearly and slowly. 👍
cheers mate 👍
You forgot to mention that to travel on the road... take the counter weight off the back , aswell as the hook.
Additionally, how to develop a successful rigging strategy...
Hello,do a video on deflecting test of a single and double gantry over head cranes and off/on shore rigging

Gday Kieran, was it true back in the day the boys took a ride on the hook all the way up to the 60th floor no harness no man cage???
Best way to sling 6x4s or any formwork timer?? Sling to avoid damaging the load with chains?

G'day mate just got my loaded vehicle crane license and as you say the course is not like real life.My question is i get nervous, can you advise me on how to overcome this and do you ever get nervous.?
How about to reconfigure computer for the change of boom
Good video mate. Your reverse (beeper) warning device isn’t working btw
👍
Hi mate thanks for the help I’m going for my Dogmans on Monday very nervous I have leaning difficult. Is there any tips you can give me before Monday?
Thank you for lessons Almighty God bless you 🌹🙏💋🎉
I did my dogmans with Kieran at CTI few years back to start working offshore. Highly recommend doing your training with him if you get the chance people 👌
This has been super helpful, I got my tickets 6 months ago and had forgotten half of the whistle signals. I’ve just started a rigging job in the mines and this has been a great refresher right before starting! Cheers 👍
advanced technology!!
like it!!
That's just great!!
i like apple!!!
Thank's shir i have subscribe i will always follow you thanks a lot
Thanks for the information
I ran into this problem with the day shift operator 😒
Cheers mate. Wish me luck, I'm doing a VOC tomorrow, haven't had much practise!
Just starting the video mate. But I would suggest that the first throw over would be on the inside of the already placed standing line so there is no pull against the initial basketing. Maybe that will be covered later on but I wanted to point it out incase the beers I’m drinking obscured it later. Cheers.
Many thanks for share your knowledge.
How about a video on how to read plans.
Can you explain me about loud chart
Load charts show the capacity of the crane at various boom length/angle/radius settings.
Thank you for the video
Look away for 2 mins and the whiteboard is blowing up. Haha. Good video mate.
Really helpful video. I have a prac exam tomorrow. We only have to do the third method. Single wrap choke back onto itself. Not onto the ring. I like the double wrap method. Looks more secure.
Are crane operators allowed to leave the crane with a suspended load?
