I loved this series too as a young person. An intelligently written series too for children - a rarity.

I found it really quite impossible to care ...😂 Pure Morrissey. This is hilarious. George is more empathic, and at one point even tries to engage Morrissey into the conversation, but Morrissey is not giving him one inch (he didn't even bother to look once at the other dude, lol ) He probably thought GM was going to be another disposable pop star airhead and was surprised he was articulate and with good music knowledge.Their gaydars must have been flashing all lights at full power.

This concert was from a backing track. Someone made the comment that this concert was to Tribute Concert what Queen was to Live Aid. Joking? To say they were best band would be okay, but don't compare them to Queen. Freddie could sing circles around him. His voice is good, but there is NOBODY with a voice like Freddie, the closest was and he sang at Freddie's tribute concert. If he would stop jumping and twisting his rear. Most unbecoming. George Michael stole the show.

I think a lot of times the rest of the band gets lost behind the comments about Nuno. They ALL showed how great they were in this performance but especially Gary! He was like a firecracker on stage and his voice stayed so crisp and clean the entire time.

Brilliant series this. I remember watching it on Sunday afternoons when I was 12 years old. I loved the opening sequence with David Haslam's haunting music. Benedict Taylor was fantastic playing the 'teenager' Billy, but was actually 21 at the time! David Haslam is a flautist and so was 'Billy'! I REALLY wish this series was available on DVD. I know that a CZcamsr called 'Toddysfins' uploaded the entire series and it's still here on YT. I watched the lot a few years ago and in fact, Ben Taylor himself commented, saying it was the first time he'd seen it since he starred in it!! Somebody, somewhere, MUST have a good quality copy! I'd also REALLY like a decent quality audio recording of David's theme music but alas...there doesn't seem to be one and in the broadcasts, the theme music was always intercut with snippets from the episode it was preceding. With all the rubbish from the past that's available to buy in various forms nowadays, I find it unbelievable that a series of this quality hasn't been released in an official form!

For me, "Extreme" was one of the best that was presented at the Freddie Mercury tribute. They were impeccable, great. People got excited about them, they sang the songs with Gary, Nuno, Paul and Pat.

I met them sitting on the sofa when the tribute took place. We are peers. I am a "lost" musician. They shook everyone. An unforgettable surprise. Since then I have never stopped following them. For me they relate to history. They are pure musicians. Let's not talk about Bettencourt. A reference, unique, a style. In my opinion, those guys deserved much more. Those guys temporarily fixed Brian's tears. Another giant. Then if you want, we'll talk about it.
