I did try out out pinpoint landing but it kept conflicting with prosperity which I felt overall was a little better, as you find exactly what you need. I could see pinpoint working alongside phantazmay to get deeper into the deck for side cards. What Ariseheart XYZ were you referring to?

@Jimothy_YGO Oh im sorry i forgot its banned in TCG, i was thinking of Master Duel lol. Nevermind that part Pinpoint Landing I personally prefer over Prosperity. Prosperity goes deeper into the deck but also cuts off some of the free value from Borger Although im running that in MD where Prosperity is at one But Pinpoint also is a lot of value Turn 1, 1 card, so its like Upstart Turn 2, its Pot of Greed Turn 3 & onward its free value, potentially getting you more value long term You also get to keep the whole Extra Deck which could come up as more options for different match ups Also i like to run more copies of Durendal to get to Razen, Fenrir or an opponents card makes it easy to use imo

You talking about the gravekeepers monster? That is actually interesting. What about the recursion off Rock if the vanquisher doesn’t it hurt you a little more. I suppose you would have won the game by the time it matters though 🤔 that is interesting.

Yeah. I summoned Raizen off snow devil then on anew chain. Chained Jiaolong to Razen to chain lock ash. Was beautiful 😂🤣😂

@@Jimothy_YGO Hi, you can't Chain block, Jiaolong isn't a trigger effect, it's a quick effect, it's spell speed 2, so your opponent can Ash your Razen, then you can chain the summon of Jiaolong. It's Sad !

@lucieblizzya7090 I believe Jiaolong effect to special summon itself is a trigger effect. So if you resolve snow devil by summoning a monster (I.e Razen) you wil have the opportunity to also summon Jiaolong. Jiaolong effect to summon would have been triggered by reveal from snow devil.

@@Jimothy_YGO it's also a Quick effect, so you can't chain block, for sure

Like droll and lock bird, it's a triggering effect, but in Quick effect, so you can chose the timing of them in the following chain, but not as a chain blocker

Definitely conspiracy theory lol, it's supposed to be a fighting game "character select" screen, where the ? would be the "random character" option. But new support would ofc be preferable!

I have seen a few smokescreen decks involving tenpai. Not sure of their effectiveness but Vanquish soul is certainly strong right now. Nowhere near snake eye but can definitely win games against them with the right hands. Should hopefully have the list out the start of next week.

In the book of eclipse scenario you still get the summon cost is target. And the on resolution u return the targeted card whether face up or face down

I wouldn’t say it is delusional. What I will say, quite like the other comment I responded to. Tenpai suffers from the branded syndrome, by where if it is in the meta people will play cards that specifically target the deck. Which inadvertently makes it much worse. Yes the deck is strong, and will close out games for the most part, however I think it struggles a little. With the new support though that will defo change.

Heat Wave is a bad card that only works if you make them go first and they happen to draw it. It's a dead draw in every other scenario

Yeah I think heatwave is not the greatest and with the amount of cards that affect this deck I don’t think it is a good idea making tenpai go first anyways.

I think it suffers from the branded syndrome. If everyone is aware of the deck then it is bad. That is because everyone will be playing outs in their deck to deal with tenpai. However if it isn’t being respected it will do well. If you are playing a hybrid deck then definitely, there are some engines that are busted. But pure I reckon it is better at going second.

You don't have to have winged-beast monsters to special summon it. It's basically saying the only monsters you can control at the time of activation are winged-beast monsters. So you either have to have no monsters, or they all have to be winged-beast

Yeah the Yubel match up is weird. The level 10 synchro can be a problem especially if they make it before going into the battle phase.

@@Jimothy_YGO my thing is i feel like a lot of the time tenpai doesnt have the resources to go into a synchro like the odd-eyes thing or their own level ten and still have the resources to do their combo in the battle phase, meaning that a lot of the time they just cant spirit-proof or interaction proof their combo in BP. maybe it will change with the new support though.

@ryionizer3622 yeah you are right. Their gameplay is pretty linear and inflexible. If they cannot resolve their combo after throwing a million hand traps they can’t recover to well, or establish any significant.
