New Plasma Cutter Attachment
Hey guys, Check out this new attachment to the @hypertherm Plasma cutter. It is called the Hyaccess tip. This was the perfect opportunity to use this tool. I am running the Hypertherm 85 Sync for this job. I know you guys will definitely dig this new toy. Doing this job any other way would have been quite tough. Kick back for a bit and check it out. Super handy. Thanks for the support and Thanks to Hypertherm for sending it.

Tar holding tank mods.
zhlédnutí 43KPřed 14 hodinami
Hey guys, here is a rather short video of adding a pipe fitting onto a tar storage tank. I have a couple of pointers that you may be able to glean off of. Hopefully you catch them. Kick back for a few minutes, maybe a coffee break or an extended rest room break and check it out. Thanks for the support and I'll get back to the bigger repairs soon. The videos are there but the editing takes up mo...
Rugged RV for Off Grid Camping or Working.
zhlédnutí 29KPřed dnem
Hey guys, You may ask yourself, "What does a welding channel have to do with an RV"? Well, as you know, many welders have to travel for work or be away from home for long periods of time. This is the case I have found myself in quite a few times. But, if you're gonna be on the road or off road, you need an RV that can do the job and not get stuck while being self-contained and comfortable. We d...

Hey guys, well, here is a nice small project for the day. Today we are repairing a quicktach Fork plate for a skidsteer. As you see in the video, the small brackets got bent out of shape and needed upgrading. Follow along as I use the HTP invertig 400 from @usaweld that my bud @ZILAwelds introduced me to. This is a nice unit that works great here in the shop. Kick back for a few moments and see...

Hey guys, well here is a nice quick job that came by the shop and has been waiting for a while. Been super busy and I finally was able to get to it. Here the customer had already tried to remove the pin with no success. Fortunately for him, we are able to remove it. Stick around and kick back for a bit. Watch the molten metal pour out and make sure not to be wearing your sandals. Thanks for the...

Well, just as the title says, "Cutting Steel Through Concrete Backer" For todays challenge we are cutting off a steel casing from a foundation pier that was once a Cell phone tower base. The customer is required to cut down or remove any evidence of any concrete or steel 5' feet down from grade. Upon jack hammering the base of the tower, they discovered that this particular concrete column was ...

Hey guys, sorry I hadn't posted in a while. Had some out of town jobs that took priority. Unfortunately they wouldn't allow me to film any of it, so that stinks. Here is a longer format weld repair of some work we were doing on a foundation drilling machine. These machines drill vertical shafts in the ground for pouring concrete as a base for building footings. Let me know what you think. There...

What I learned this time is the same thing I learn every time, my welds sound exactly the same as yours but they never look the same. lol.
Great job Isaac as always 🦘
*_"If you saw my Instagram..."_* UUggh! VOMIT!
Is that a Hypertherm setup? Because I have a Hypertherm 65 with that setup but my torch is the 90 degree with both those tips. They work great and cuts down on the oxy/ accet gases which are becoming astronomical in cost. Thanks again for your great videos and work 😎🤙🏼💯❤️
Yes, it is
@@ICWeld it definitely helps me on the oxy/accet gas costs but as you know the regular torch outfit always has its place 💪🏽💯🇺🇸😎
That Sawzall blade looks like one id use for bones and antlers
Always look forward to each episode.
👍
Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Great Job ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing , always a pleasure follow your project, i learn a lot, from Quebec ,Canada 👍👍👍👍
A Sawzall? That's like Obi-Wan Kenobi using a blaster on General Grievous.
Those rods quickly get eaten up! I never knew how many was needed... in this case about $70 worth.
What brand of machine was that Issac?
that is a sweet attachment right there. Love it ! and this channel !
MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼
It’s funny. Right before you pulled out the gouging tip, I was going to comment that you need a gouging tip. With my Hypertherm 45XP you can turn it down to 25-30 amps and wash that out like a surgeon. As good as you are, you’d be able to master it in no time.
came out great
Great new torch. That really gets right in there. Just so you know, it hurts when you hit your hand with a hammer and you might want to avoid it!
Since this is a part that already broke, could you have put a brace in the space behind it to give the ram more 'meat' to push against?
👍
👍🏼🙌🏼
Thanks
Like the New Plasma Torch. I need to get one, Oxy-Acetylene kind of makes a mess sometimes.
Worse thing is they'll probably want you to do the other side next! Lol
Wow! That Hyaccess tip is terrific, especially the second one! Whether you will be doing less torch cutting now? We shall see. Thanks for another top-notch video.
Man, I can't think of a better way to finish up my Friday from the 4 horseman, CEE, On fire welding, FARM CTAFT 101, and now IC WELD.
Pretty tricky job, but you nailed it, as usual.
WOW. Hypertherm knocked it out of the park. I have a LE plasma torch regular 90 degree and reworking my smoker. PITA to cut inside the box and I have to accommodate the tip offset and the 90 angle. I sure would love to switch over to your setup especially with that long handle that mimics a acy torch. Problem is I don’t use it for making money. So I’ll just have to keep adjusting and grinding and finding other ways to do my projects. Thanks for all your torch work. Truly a Master.
Always learning from your videos, thank you.
When you tapped on that plate with a hammer, the only thing I could think of was "Stwike him Centuwion!!". I don't know why. Probably brain (Brian) damage. You've got quite the lightsaber there.
👍
Awesome job
If the operator would pick the track Tonon up why’ll shooting grease this would never happen
Use the old Navy way. Hammer to fit, paint to match. Works every time.
Issac, I look forward for your Posts. I don't weld but there is so much to learn about Planning and the logic you apply to all your work. I really enjoy seen your Son Working with you, he is fortunate to have a great Teacher. I noticed Many people View your Posts but Only a fraction will take the time to at least give you a Thumbs up for your Effort. know you are Appreciated
I appreciate that!
👍🏼🙌🏼 where’s the apprentice? Have not seen him lately nor the 4 legged superintendent cruising the shop
Great Work As Allways Isaac
They make them cutters any longer we'll have to start calling you Zorro
👍🏼🙌🏼
Wow and no power washed? 😮
Always something interesting.
Quick question…obviously you have been doing this for a while but how do you give an estimate on this? Great video by the way Sir!
Depends, I mostly do these jobs on an hourly basis but if its very involved, I add a little here and there. Some repairs are rather similar so i have an idea like "oh, that'll be a days work, or a weeks work". then total up my hourly rate based on that guesstimate.
Yours is one of my channels. Yoy keep your cool, even though the work and locations look hot. You break the job into little pieces so it's not overwhelming. Lots of admiration for a true craftsman!
You do great work!
Thanks for sharing your experience and skills I,m also impressed with the sawsall blade mine is usually dull after hitting a nail 😊
Tight spot nicely done That’s a handy new plasma torch there Cheers from Nova Scotia
Another great video, thank you for sharing it with us.
New plasma heads definitely have their place!! I believe it's on Facebook, someone is advertising a flexible MIG tip. Not sure about the quality.
Always the most interesting thing to see
Testing a new cutting tool on a clients job, knowing you have the knowledge to repair absolutely any errors made. Massive skills and even bigger cojones Isaac. Respect dude.
I think the slow mo guys use mirrors to keep their cameras from getting ruined. Keep that camera safe, and keep the content coming, this is one of my favorite channels. Cheers
