ive been using this amp for maybe 3weeks. I've been absolutely slamming, i can bump for like 1 hour straight and this thing wont get hot at all. you can not beat the price at all - 4 sundown sa 12 v.2 in a 4th order(this amp gets down i burped a 156db lmao
@darkxd8366 yeah it gets down! I can deff tell these Xv3's are getting maxed out lol. It does a 150.3 is the loudest I got on music so far. Not bad for 2 12's!

That's the old HD series and stuff. They're connected together inside the amp so I doesn't matter.

Yeah but it's a lithium bank. 64ah. But I'm getting a SCIB bank soon. My voltage drops to 13v now lol.

@956Bassaddict it did a 147.8 on music before w the smart 5 sealed up the right way and at my peak. And I can tell it's louder so I'm hoping to be pushing that 150db. I'm hopeful lol. I'll post it all once I get there. All that was on the same dsp settings I had on the smart 5.

@plark7323 I appreciate the support! And I haven't had that issue personally. I've got 97k miles on it now so problems like that may start to arise lol. I've had it since 76k miles with no problems thus far. Even with 600 pounds of equipment in the back on the air suspension đ€Łđ€·ââïž
@1ohmwrecker ya mine has 108 and it's a known issue they start to collapse. Easy fix look up some videos about 45 min and order from fcpeuro..... only replace parts with oe or oem or you'll be chasing problems

@Shane454 haven't tried yet. This was w my door and sunroof open. It did a 147.6 on music before I swapped. I usually don't do test tone measurements cuz they're kinda useless lol.

Is tatamps reliable? How's the sound for bass? I have a ds18 k03 but trying to decide if I want to save for 8k Korean again or go cheaper. I like the constant power of the Taramps but heard good and bad stories.

@@MoToArchY Yes, the New Big Boss Bass have All the best/latest upgrades, and make rated power @ 1/2 ohm, 1 ohm, & 2 ohm= more chance to fight impedance rise! Its hard to have too much power, i would suggest, since your going to be buying a new amp, just save up a little more $ and buy the Big Boss 8k Bass, as you can always turn it down.
It gets well over 100 degrees in the summer here. Add the heat from the amp I donât think it would last. Iâve had a lot of success with total boat flexepox. I was having issues with inductors breaking at the joints.Since doing this the amp is nade proof
I'm gonna make a video of how my 5k held up for 2 years after doing it soon. 2 hot summers and 2 freezing winters. Stay tuned... đ

Why wouldn't you buy a real amp like the orion 3000.1splx it dynos 13.8k watts rms and well I hate to say it but watch emf audio teach ya about full bridge they kinda blow for under 40hz check em out you'll see

I didn't do this to my taramps but not because I didnt know that this is a good idea because I do know it is. I didnt do this because it voids the warranty and I want to use that warranty for when I cook my amp.

Hot glue is "ok" if you use some hot temp glue but I would use some epoxy like the black Gorilla Glue epoxy. It will not melt at all once cured. I used some hot glue to hold my tweeters in in my pillars but the Florida sun melted the hot glue and they became loose. But thank you for the video.
