"it is forbidden.." lol... About to install one of these. Just checking things out in different places. Edit: Also, this did not include adding the sealant (that at least came with mine) on the flare ends.
if you see at 14:14 timeline, there is only one set of wire coming to outside unit, and no disconnect box.. so the inside wire is the main power intake
@savagemonkeez I have a 120v 12k btu. I just put a regular plug on the end of the grey cable, plugged it into an outlet inside like a window unit does. Outside condenser gets power from the grey cable/indoor unit. Let me know if a way to send you a photo if needed, good luck to you

What did you do with the gray cable that was installed on the inside unit
