Nice tutorial, can I use a 7.4V 700mah battery?
What happens if you forget to turn it off now? I think if I was going to do this I would put a 3S BMS inline with the battery.
Hope you plan on putting in a lipo alarm or your gonna forget again and ruin that lipo instead of cheap aa's

i got this unit, i put in rechargeable AA batteries, but it won't charge them thru the charge port...
well if you forget to shut off now,youll be buying a new lipo.

RC Klir: I don't have this controler yet, but it looks promising. Thanks for your video. Looks like a nice clean solution to a common problem. I have a number of 3 and 3 channel receivers that are compatible with the Turnigy 9x system. Can you tell me if this transmitter works with the same receives as the Turnigy 9x? You did such a nice job on your mod, you should do a video of the transmitter functions too! Thanks. Jim
