Lindenwood’s Men’s Wrestling program is dropped as of Spring 2024. Unfortunately we have to find a new place to call home. Brandon is thankful for the opportunity he had at Lindenwood. As parents we can only hope for the best for our kids and for them to accomplish their dreams.

Brandon had a 54 win season with 37 pins. Ended his high school career with 151 wins, 98 pins, and 413 takedowns for the Rancho Bernardo Broncos. While at RB High he was a 3X CIF Champion and 4X finalist, SDS CIF Masters Champion and 3X finalist, 4X state qualifier, and a 2X state placer (Unofficial State 6th and Official CIF State 3rd). He will be wrestling for Lindenwood University in the fall.

RB had 6 state qualifiers and placed 3. All wrestled tough. Because California only has one state champion per weight only the best qualify each year. 40 per bracket plus pig tail rounds. The 3 day cut becomes a factor by the third day of competition. The three wrestlers from RB that placed were: Brandon Eusebio 3rd, Jacob Jones 6th, and Marcus Caro 7th.

RB finished 4th as a team and had 6 medalists. 5 wrestlers will be heading to the California State Championships in Bakersfield. 3 seniors will be competing in their last high school tournament. Brandon Eusebio and Jacob Jones has qualified every year to the State Tournament and are also 2 of 3 seniors for the team that were 4 year varsity starters. The 2023 Division 1 SD CIF Championships was hosted at the Stable. The varsity boys finished as the runner-up to team powerhouse Poway. RB finished with 12 medalists and had 2 Champions.

Brandon wanted to win another Holtville Rotary Invitational Championship to make it 3 individual championships. Unfortunately, Covid caused the tournament to be cancelled in 2021. Which would have made him one of four or five individuals that won the title 4 times. This tournament has been a good one for him he has 2 Outstanding Light Weight Wrestler awards and 1 Benji Rivas Best Takedown Award...

RBHS had their Senior Night at the Stable on January 26, 2023. Congratulations Seniors!

RB with a mixed varsity line-up. RB missing 7 starters for this dual. Good job to our underclassman picking up slack and getting the job done.

RBHS Boys Varsity wrestling team brought 10 wrestlers and had 2 Broncos medal. Brandon Eusebio placed 3rd at 132 lbs and Marcus Caro placed 8th at 145 lbs. Marcus medically forfeited after winning blood match. The Team placed 16th out of 84 teams.

RBHS brought 4 Varsity Boys to the 2023 Doc B Tournament in Clovis, Ca. Rated one of the top High School wrestling tournaments in the nation. Nationally ranked wrestlers and state champions and placers from many states.
