Prevention of Heat Illness Webinar
This webinar featured representatives from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Cornell University's Workforce Development Program, and the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH). The webinar was moderated by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. Presenters included Nick Donofrio, OSHA; Dr. Rich Stup, Cornell Agricultural Workforce Development; Dr. Brian Quinn, NYCAMH; and Anna Meyerhoff, NYCAMH.

Hi Iam head of the Spotted Lanter Fly committee at OUR community garden at Floyd Bennett Field.We use Catchmaster stickytape it is a soft glue.You might see a couple of bird feathers.The birds can get off easy.We also use extension pole with paint scrapers.This up coming Fall we will use plastic deck brushes on the poles.We have a Ryobi 1 gallon 18volt wet/dry vac.Works great.Right now we are lucky only a few are here.But we know their coming.We are underfunded.OUR president said what we are doing is really nothing.

i have killed over 600 slf and a lot of egg masses in our community garden in Brooklyn from Nov 14 to Nov. 22 2022.they have laid eggs in almost every tree that i can.i have pics of slf and egg masses.I even have one just being laid with mom still on top.we do not want to lose our community garden.it is a sanctuary to me and a lot of us.

Please inform producers that they must report acreage after they plant their hemp not before. We can not take an “intended” acreage report.
What we really need is guidance on the FBI background check. The information is not clear.
Do we have to report plants disposed of because be of disease or infestation?
