Hi Olivia, I just wanted to say thank you so much for this video. I really needed to hear these affirmations coming from someone who's already been through it, overcome it, and owned it. It's been 8 months since I decided to pursue photography, grinded it out with excitement and willpower, had fun doing so but now I'm running out of savings and having a little dwarf in my head pressing on the anxiety button, looking back on all the things I've done with photography and left with fundamental questions of 'so where am I headed?', 'what do I want to do with my life as a creator?'. And i think intention setting as well as giving myself some leeway to have stability in funds made sense to me but at the same time made me wonder if I'm running away from challenges and avoiding problems.

This is another example of those who want you to improve your life, to sit down and think, really think what you want your future life to be like, THEN, importantly, really think what that future version of you would be doing on a daily basis, weekly basis. And then, start doing those things. Just discovered your channel, at 42....working on becoming a commercial photographer.

Hi. Thank you for sharing your knowledge:) I have question. When you are pitching pre-shooted image to brand how do you resolve models image usage rights. Shouldn't you have permission from agency to do so?

HI! I have a Nikon D3 & D700...old, no wifi/bluetooth or video but beautiful full frame images, uses CF cards...I use a card read to upload images to a Samsung S22 Ultra then to Lightroom for mobile...If I purchase this printer, once the images are in my phone I can then use the phone to send pictues to this printer to print, correct?

So basicly in first two minutes you reveal most important thing - to become sucsesful phototgrapher you need to know certain people.

Offering a photoshoot to every brand i want to start working with seems like a lot of time and work to put in... Do you ever approach brands differently ? Working for free really is my last resort... Thank you for all the shared knowledge, I saved that video, it is very helpful. @byolivialeung

Very helpful content, thank you so much! My question: shall pitches to brands, which are based on your own story, contain Pinterest images or your own? Since it could be difficult to find images which match your story for the moodboard.
