if you work on computers you defiantly need to have a little harbor freight pick or a paper clip....you know why.
@@thomascook1640 I keep a paper clip in my wallet. It is needed often enough that I never want to be without one. So many times a simple reset fixes a device. My multitool also has a micro screwdriver that will serve the same purpose. Electrical tape is kept wrapped around a keychain prybar. I don't just do IT but also sound and lightimg for a college so for me gaffers tape is a big step up from duct tape. I have to make a new video on the kit since it has been upgraded and also go over how it works with my edc. A few items seem to be missing but they are on my person.
Nice kit. I keep some duct tape wrapped around a plastic card and some electrical tape around a Bic lighter. I like that Estwing pry bar. It's too long for my handy kit, but would be a great addition to my truck roll.
@@brianclevenger5521 I have electrical tape wraped around a keychain prybar. It is very handy to have. The next step up for me is gaffers tape. As an IT, Sound, and Lighting guy it is a big step up from Duct tape. Gaffers sticks well but doesn't leave any residue or stickiness behind when pulled up. I need to make an updated video of this kit since it has been tweeked over time. It also may seem like a few items are missing but they are part of my edc. The two compliment each other.
Pretty knife. I'm a bit bothered by the way the sharp edge of the tang sits so proud above the rear bolster in the closed position.
@@michaeldavis4969 I hear you, it's not a perfect knife. The Buck 110 and 112 are old designs. Modern knives have improved by leaps and bounds, but these old classics have a special charm. I love carrying old knives especially slipjoints. Not everyone does!
@@LastChanceKnives Agree. I love the style. That exposed sharp edge is the only thing that bothers me. I wonder if it could be radiused to at least make it less sharp. I totally understand that a certain amount of surface area is needed for the blade to make a strong and play-less connection to the locking mechanism, but does that require an exposed, sharp point?
@@michaeldavis4969 I haven't gotten aroung to carrying and testing the 112 yet. When I do I'll look at what can be done with that sharp corner. I hit the same sharp corners on my Rosecraft Briarpatch with a diamond stone and it made a big difference without changing the looks of function of the knife. It doesn't take much, just a few swipes did the trick.
That'a a great group of stock knives, enjoy your vacation.
@@PantherCityEDC Thanks and good luck!
Nice
@@MacBeanScottishFitness Thanks! I just got back today and have a lot of catching up to do!
Stockman was my first traditional knife i liked. It was Queen Small Stockman. Thanks for the chance.
@@danegavriloski6061 @PantherCityEDC Thanks and good luck!
That sharpening job was spot on!👍🔥
Great video! Awesome content. 👍Thank you!
@@cynthiajeffrey Thanks for taking a look! I really like this one a lot and will probably carry it as a Sunday knife.
Very nice Ken.
@@jeffjackson5331 Thanks! The GEC is a really nice knife. I like it better than the other knives of similar size that I have.
@@LastChanceKnives you're welcome. Cool!
I RECEIVED MY PRIZE FROM YOUR PREVIOUS GIVEAWAY. Thank you very much for this great knife prize package.
@@kellyoneal1675 I am glad you liked it!
Great looking knife! Thanks for showing it off, buddy!
@@davidkurle5418 Thanks! I like this on a lot!
Beautiful pickup from TPK Ken ... almost purchased this one for myself. I wanted the Ferrier's version with the hoof cleaner/scraper/hook. Luv the higher/larger blades on the GEC. Great comment about the value of the RCB Briarpatch. Thanks for the share, LCK. Hope you are enjoying vacation.
@@byronkennedy7912 Thanks! The vaccation was great! I just wish that my parrents were not so old and that they were in a little better health. Most likely within the next year or 2 I'll move close to them. My family wants to live in Florida anyway, so we'll see what happens.
it is a nice knife. looks really clean.
@@thebodybeatdownDiTi I just got back at 1am this morning! This particular knife is really nice!
Great video Ken!! GEC is beautiful! Love my Rosecraft too! Appreciate your thoughts on these and the comparisons!
@@J.O.VenturesOutdoors Thanks! They are both great knives. I just think that the Rosecraft is about as good as it gets for quality at a reasonable price.
Ken I’m right with you I also love the briarpatch it’s a great knife thanks as always for the great video keep charging brother 😊
@@jerseyknifeguy6382 Thanks! I love the GEC and will probably carry it as a "Sunday" knife. It is just hard to beat Rosecraft as an edc hard working knife.
Beautiful knife! I love the bone on it. ❤️🔪
@@RadioGeekBlades The bone is great! I love bone in a red-brown color especially when the blades are carbon!
You sound like a younger version of me! "I have a back up of this knife, in my safe" 😂 Peace be with you!❤❤❤
@@peterfreidel7721 LOL, Thanks! At 56 not that young, but not that old either! There just are those knives that are so good and such a great value that you NEED a spare!
@@LastChanceKnives I just traded one of my spare GEC's to a CZcamsr
@peterfreidel7721 That is the other benefit. Sometimes it allows for a great trade!
What a great look at this GEC. And a very nice comparision. Hard to beat a rosecraft for utility and blade steel.
@@BaxtersBladesEven though the GEC is a fantastic knife, it is hard to beat Rosecraft for quality, value, and utility as an edc knife. The price is good enough that you can replace it if need be. I think is waht marks the difference between an edc and a collector knife.
You would have better luck seeing Bigfoot than you would finding one of these for sale.
@@gregmerryman7939 Actually it wasn't that hard to get. You have to find the one you want and be there for the drop. I know that can be a pain but I have done this twice now and got what I wanted both times. I only have 2 GEC knives and that is enough for me. I just wanted a couple in my collection.
A beautiful knife. Definitely similar to the other knives. The briarpatch is a great knife too. Great video Ken!!
@@RandysWSG Thy are both great in different ways. It's just Rosecraft is hard to beat as an edc!
I was thinking about that horse rancher in blue micarta but I already have a 39 sheffield pattern
@@patrickmunneke8348 The blue micarta would be really nice. I just couldn't resist this one!

Holy super stockman Kenman! What a killer giveaway!! Those are 4 that i donnot have! You have a fantastic Vacation! If you are gonna be gone i will wait a week to send your congress!👊💥💤🐯
@BaxtersBlades I'll be gone for a week, so waiting is a good idea. The main reason I use my work address is that we have our own internal post office. Anything shipped there is 100% safe even if it sits. I have my own box in the P.O. that my stuff gets put into. Who knows you might get lucky this time! There are quite a few more entries on this GAW! If you don't win there just may be a little something coming your way!
@@LastChanceKnives college address. I will wait a bit to send it though. You have allready givin me plenty Ken! I just like to enter for fun! No worries brother! That RRR is awesome though and all the rest!
Spyderco use 100° taper pivot screws, which are irritatingly hard to source aftermarket - the norm is 82°.
Great kit. Perhaps an Allen key set could be added?
@BobMcneely Thanks for checking it out! There are Allen bits in the kit, both metric and imperial. I don't think I went through every bit in the kit when I made the video. I have made quite a few improvements and need to make an updated video.
Dont own a traditional knife, this would be great. Right now I am loving my bradford guardian 3.2
@magbertrafuna3714 Well, since fixed blades predate what we call traditional knives, one could say they are the real traditionals 🤣 I carry a traditional, multitool, and either a modern folder or a fixed blade everyday. My preference in traditionals is multibladed knives.
The multi blade traditionals seem like they would be very functional and utilitarian.
My G-paw gave me a jigged bone pocket knife, still carry it.
@seanmacdonald5518 I don't have my grandfather's knife, but I do have most of his tools and use them all the time. We worked together a lot back in the late 70's and 80's so I am glad to have them. I still miss him!
Enjoy your vacation, have fun and stay safe, i think I should've gotten in on this giveaway
@SouthernKnifeLife The comment is an entry so you will be in on it. The drawing will be when I get back.
Sorry I haven't had the chance to stop by and congratulate you! So, congrats LCK! Keep charging, and, Onwards and Upwards my friend.
@knifedelights7473 I know how it is! I have been busy and only been able to watch about 1 video a week from everybody. There just isn't enough hours in a day to see them all! It's good that the community is growing and the quality of the people is staying high! I am close to 1.3k, but am just now getting enough time to do the GAW!
Hope you have a wonderful vacation! It’s so great seeing your channel grow and what it has become. Thanks for all you do for the knife community. Please enter me in the prize go away. Those are some amazing looking knives!

Yes these two make sense you got me on this ROSECRAFT knife I’ve never wanted before and I now I want one . This one down fall to enjoy knife content you always see multiple pieces you want and then there goes the savings and with a senior dog who I love more then any knives I have not bought a knife more expensive the $10 a flea market due to a unexpectedly expensive vet bill for dental work for my dog and she I my emotional support dog and I’d spend my last penny on her sorry My friend for typing my rant on you. It’s just for some reason I know you can understand my ,ind somewhat so THANK YOU GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR PETS STAY SAFE IN YOUR TRAVELS AND ENJOY YOUR VACATION 😊😊😊😊😊
I do understand! Right now I do not have any pets but I have had several in the past. You do get attached to them. Pets especially dogs give an unconditional love and are part of the family. All of these knife videos can bankrupt you if you let them! I try to keep it to just one that I really like and a few $10-$15 RR's every couple of months. The Briarpatch will make an appearance in a video that I have scheduled for next week.
Those are great knives, count me in ! Cheers
@@guillaumebarnabe998 They are all good, but the Vosteed is my favorite!

Have a great vacation enjoy your vacation you deserve it. I’ll be curious to see how the strong man gets his lifting in on vacation lol it’s funny because i lifted weights all threw my teenage years and until I got a bad drug addiction when I was 27 and still do occasionally do curls with a 35lbs. Dumbbells but since I stop watching the videos I would use as motivation It what I was doing before I started watching the knife content.but yes enjoy your vacation STAY SAFE STAY STRONG AND GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR PETS #SERVICEDOG
I'll see if I can find a local gym. I will be visiting my parents this coming week. I met another one of my goals last night! A 500 pound deadlift! Not bad for a 56 year old. Stick with it. there is a lot that you can do with dumbbells. Bands are another good way to train. There are almost endless exercises that can be done with them. I think all of us need to keep the mind and body busy. It helps us to stay out of trouble!
