How can you say the staff are rude…the still had a waitress smiling at you….we have stayed here 5 times and we can’t fault the customer service. Clearly you are an arrogant entitled yank who thinks he is better than everyone else. FYI the coffee is in the drawer in your room along with sugar, tea and other treats 😤#worstreviewever

I thought it was very nice and great view!
It wasn’t as nice as the Ali building but it was good just the same. Banyan was a bit older and more dated.
@@happywanderer3687 we are planning on renting this unit ... any cons about it that I need to know about it ? question does it have a shower/tub combo or shower only ? (I couldn't tell from your video) ... is there a/c ?
@@jozawadzki7151 banyan building had carpet and slight odor just from being an older building with carpet. I would ask for the Ali building if possible but both had great views! The Ali room had a tub/shower combo but I don’t remember if the Banyan did but I think so. The rooms were to be identical so I would think it did. In any case, a great place to stay regardless of building and room.
@@happywanderer3687 Actually the Ali'i Bldg was finished in 1986 and the Banyan not built till 1995 so it is almost 10 years younger than Ali'i. But since you posted this a year ago, Ali'i Bldg had begun renovations which they do every 10 years and will complete in 2025. Maybe that is why you felt it was "newer" than Banyan. I agree Ali'i is a better building, but I am partial since I've owned 2 weeks in Ali'i since 1989, and watched the Banyan being built. But since they had to fit it in between the Ali'i and Coral bldgs, they had to curve it. So to me it doesn't have the excellent straight on ocean views that every unit in Ali'i has. One week from today I will be back at my home away from home!
