This update was so cool, it made me almost forget about my parent's failing marriage!

Payday 3 still has a loooooong way to go before it lives up to its predecessor, but this is a great step in the right direction.

What they should do is refund to those who buy this shit, stop working on this shit and get back to PD2

even with what there doing it probs to late to get people to come back to your game with new games coming out constantly its almost imposable also we are almost half way threw the year without a new heist and the stuff they do add should have been there at launch not hyped up updates i dont think this game will recover and ik ill keep playing payday 2

Thats such a stretch. Good update and managed to bring 500 players, but no way "back". Not even a way to filter loud or stealth yet

I don't know chief, this is so far just following the same pattern as Minecraft Legends: >game comes out, massive playerbase on day 1 >the game is flawed and/or boring >developer support improves the game, but damage is already done >no players >development ceases as the project is determined to be entirely unprofitable I wont be surprised if the players simply never come back to Payday 3

This update made me play again because now I can find players. Also next update is building up to be huge if it has boys in blue, the lmg, and the new progression rework that they mentioned in the blog post yesterday.

I cannot wait for the future, hopefully this summer is going to be big.

To be honest, I disagree. Adrenaline, as great as it sounds, isn't as cheap compared to Plate Up + Adaptive Armor. With Adrenaline, you might get most of Fortitude skill line, and some of Medic skill line (probably 8 skill points, counting up if u want medic bags). Compared to Plate Up + Adaptive Armor, where you just need Plate Up (2 skill points) and any Grit source (I use Enforcer basic and Combat Reload, so another 2 skill points), it totals up to 4 skill points (or 6 if you use Replenish, but most people already use it (i think), counting up if you want armor bags). With Adrenaline, you'd need to rely on Medic Bags and First Aid Kits to keep up the Adrenaline, compared to PL + AA, which you really need to play smartly and you will keep most of your armor, since it's infinite. Some maps do benefit from Adrenaline, but Plate Up + Adaptive Armor works everywhere, anywhere. Good thing with Adrenaline is that you can do more dangerous stuff, since it doesn't count towards your armor. I mostly run SA A144 + 5x Scope + Precision Shot, and Plate Up + Adaptive Armor. Keeps me alive most of the time in overkill solo loud. With SA A144 + 5x Scope + Precision Shot, the game goes from easy, to point and click adventure game. As easy as it sounds, I still play smartly, like taking cover, taking an alternative path if cops swarm the path I wanted to take.

Game is really fun if you have a team and even if you are solo if you have a decent build it’s fun to play with higher level people or help new players it’s a mentality game if you play it thinking bad you’re gonna have a bad time simple

Some of the loud modifiers are things that should just be in the game by default. Hard Bargain should be an Overkill thing (however you literally can't dominate cops without skills so it would just softlock some heist, unless SBZ decides to let us dominate cops again). That doubled specials thing should be in overkill as well by default. Losing edge, grit and rush from specials should also be a thing in Overkill by default. I have the feeling that half of these are just things that should already be in Overkill by default.
