Concrete burns are no joke. I am a former firefighter and one time, i had to rescue a guy in a construction site pit that was filled with spilled wet cement. Because he was trapped under some rubble, we had to walk in knee high wet cement and to cut him out and after like half hour, the wet cement on our skin starts to burn. We had to get out periodically to wash the cement off and go in again. I got like 1st and 2nd degree burns on my arms and legs.

The tall brother was a real asshole in this episode. The short guy was right. The brother and the handsome “Dr. McSteamy” DON’T get a say in the matter. The beautiful women on this show would never DREAM of dating a man of Chuck’s stature (5’3). McSteamy is tall AND handsome, therefore he is privileged. The tall brother, Gary, may not be voted “sexiest man alive” anytime soon, but the fact that he is 6’4 definitely means life is easier for him than it is for his short, overweight, balding sibling. Hell, we don’t even have to bring looks into this. These guys could’ve been identical TWINS except for their height, and they would be treated differently by society. Gary doesn’t even bother to show any empathy or sympathy for his brother. He just says “you’re an ass, and it’s all in your head.” That would be no different than a rich white man telling a poor black man that racism “is all in his head.” Sure, that’s not to say he doesn’t have problems. Sure maybe his girlfriend/wife, Lori, left him, but I’m sure he’d have no problem finding another one! As a man of 5’3, it is MUCH harder to meet a nice, non-superficial woman. Gary also says “nobody knows how short you are except you, dude.” That’s bullshit. Sure, they may not know his EXACT measurement, but everyone can see that he is noticeably short. If Gary was MY brother, I would cut ties with him completely. On another note, this episode got limb lengthening surgery completely wrong. This is definitely a VERY worst case scenario. These days, the surgery is MUCH more advanced. Also, it seems kind of racist that they would portray a doctor in Hong Kong as being backwards when actually they have very advanced medicine over there.
