The big problem is just boycotting them will not do any good what so ever and they dont care because they now make a ton of money selling to military that drone you see bubby's drone is getting ordered by the thousands monthly, they dont care about the fpv community its a very small community so they dont care. They will make billion's instead of millions, all military will buy from them around the world contracts after contracts and yes its sad buy boycotting alone will not do anything and in the very near future flying drones will not be allowed unless your military because its a weapon and can be used as a weapon in our streets thats whats going to happen and it really sucks.

From the beginning, I did not understand RedCat Jeff's Business plan (uploading flight logs?) and thought he was shady AF. Still think so, but now I understand his grand-er plan. He is a business man, not a hobbyist. He is making decisions for profit, not for supporting the community. Onshoring the FC means that they can sell to the US Government, as China is a controlled country with regard to technology. You don't want a potential adversary backdooring all the goods you may use to attack them at some point. So regarding hobby items being weaponized and then marketed for war. There is a large history of this. Everything has the potential to be weaponized. Laser Pointers to Directed Energy Weapons, 3D Printers to Firearm Production, Recreational Robots to Military Robots, Software Tools to Cyber Weapons, Laser Rangefinders to Laser Target Designators, many examples. Am I going to boycott iRobot because they weaponized the robot vacuum and marketed a similar technology as unmanned ground vehicle for military use? No. I am going to celebrate RR, RC, UM, en toto, for bringing technology jobs back to the US. Am I going to look down on anyone who does boycott? No We all have agency to choose, a right that true democracy provides us. Get out and Fly!
