When you use a jig saw or any tool which puts pressure or vibration on a suurface that you will see, always cover it in masking tape for the tool to run over. Then after, remove the masking tape, no marks.

Just heads up filming yourself with a hand held camera while driving. Don’t want you having a bump, or the authorities coming knocking,

Ok question...accountability...you stated as you set out I'm this endeavor you had information to share for those who would have to go through all the time, agony, and funds to obtain. Regarding your backpack, although there are holes for breathing, maybe think about keeping it in shade or put something over it so the sun doesn't make it an oven

I don't have LPG in my van, but I remember reading that if your guage isn't working, you can check your tank level by pouring some hot water down the side of your tank. Run your hand down the tank in the water track, and when you hit a cool spot, that indicates the gas level. It's just an estimate, but I think it may have come in handy when you feared running out (and couldn't make pizza!!!!) 😅. I think a bell on Savanna's collar is a great idea!!! She can still go through the motions of hunting but at least the birds and critters have a fighting chance of making it out alive. I completely understand the three-day comfort window. Day 1, get a lay of the Lans and create your nest. Day 2, explore your surroundings and relax. Day 3, revisit spots or see new ones with the idea of where they are in the context of "home." Then, spend relaxed time cleaning up and figuring out where to go next...supply run, gas, etc., I. The direction you want to head in. Find your park up for the night so you can easily leave, already prepped, the next morning. I'm definitely not a fan of finding a new place to sleep each night! Love your videos!! :) I also travel with my cat, we're going to the Peak District this weekend! Regarding the number of nights per spot, it depends on the reviews I've read on park4night and the vibe of the area. Sometimes it's good to arrive late & leave early to not risk annoying neighbours and getting the spot removed, but if you're in the middle of nowhere like yours have been in this video, then I'd also stay multiple nights if possible. I guess it depends on where I am if that makes sense? But having been in the van for a decent amount of time now, I feel way more comfortable than I used to just pulling up wherever now and chilling haha, you just learn to not care I guess? :)

If I can find a decent pitch like that one, I would stay 3 or 4 days (depending on whats there to do, food I've got, etc). But if I'm staying in a town, I try not to stay in the same spot more than a day. More than that and people thinnk you're a "traveller" (if you know what I mean) and get a bit shirty. All the best ❤

Another great video. You now appear to be comfortable with finding park ups and stopping on your own, what is your approach for finding park ups; park4night ? or Google Earth searches etc.

Cats are devastating for the songbird population, it might not be perfect but please put a bell on her when she goes out to make it more difficult for her to hunt successfully.

It may seem obvious but I tend to stay longer in spots where I feel more secure and relaxed or If I need a decent shower, stock up or want to use the facilities. Campsites are a good choice. It just all depends on how stressed I feel at trying to find a decent spot.
