I love crocheting my chicken but there are parts I struggle with, especially in tthe tail. No one is crocheting one that I can find- hence, if I do get in to some trouble, there's no one to ask!
Ahhh maybe I'll try crocheting one too! But I don't have that pattern yet. I only bought the knitting pattern. I actually share all of my knitting adventures over on my @bayareaknitter channel incase you'd like to check that one out too.

I love diamond art, it's the best craft in the entire universe. It's like color by number - with diamonds. I did some of them, my favorites being the partial ones. I prefer round diamonds and other shapes except square ones, but round diamonds are my favorite diamonds. I only have one diamond painting with square diamonds of Buzz Lightyear except I never liked it so I gave it to my mom's boyfriend. He asked how much I want, and I wasn't sure, and he said he'll lend me tsebty dollars for it, and I said, "Okay." He hadn't loan the cash to me yet, but he will since my mom told me he'll pay for it before he got it until I asked him if he still wants it. I don't need a Buzz Lightyear diamond painting. *Gasp* Wouldn't be amazing for me to sell finished diamond art paintings for both boys and girls and men and women? I can set up a table and set up different diamond art paintings from canvas ones to charms, literally all sorts for everyone to choose from. I'll have a sign saying, "Completed Diamond Art Paintings For Sale Name Your Price." I don't wanna put prices on my diamond art paintings because I'm not picky of how much money I'm given and I refused to be greedy about it, which is why buyers can choose any price they're happy to lend me - but my mom has to help me give change back since I'm not good at counting cash and not how much to lend back. Someday I will figure it out since I'm still learning how to count cash, including coins. Anyways, if this does happen, I'll be ecstaticed. Can anyone else see me doing something like that? Selling my completed diamond art paintings of all kinds for people to have? I sure do and it's all thanks to my mom's boyfriend. 😁
Wow! Thanks for your comment! That is sooo sweet of you to want to sell your diamond art and let people pay whatever they can. Especially since it's very time consuming! I also prefer round diamonds, but I'm getting used to the square ones, because I am working on a square DP right now. 😅

Ugh.... 3 years at least, maybe 4 years. Mine is so beautiful, too. I bought all koigu yarns in jewel tones. I don't know why I can't get it finished. Recently, I pulled it out of the WIP pile, and I'm determined to finish it.

I have finished two during the pandemic. The first one was a 10 years old work in progress scrappy blanket. The second one looks like stained glass diamonds made with cakes of Lion Brand mandala yarn.
Ohhh WOW!!! 😲 That's an amazing accomplishment!!! I really hope to complete this one someday soon and then make a second one, so each of my kiddos can have one! They're both grown now and my youngest starts college in the fall. Thanks so much for watching! I'll be posting more soon! I'm in the process of relocating by fall, so that's been keeping me very busy to say the least. 😅 By the way, I haven't tried that mandala yarn yet, but it's been calling out to me lately! It's gorgeous!

What is partial diamond painting?
Ohhh! It's just when you don't cover the whole canvas in drills. Partials usually have special shapes too, like this one. They're much quicker to work up since you don't have to fill the whole canvas.
Thank you, I would of frogged the whole thing until the dropped stitch; now just need to get mine to work properly. Different model (made for kids) and 15+ years old, keeps pulling the yarn tight.
Awww best of luck with yours! Maybe the tension is too tight? It's been a learning curve for me, and even this one is finicky with certain yarns. The softer yarns work so much better.

I am originally from FL, we moved to TN about 13 years ago I was worried about the cold being born and raised in FL 😂 but it’s not too bad there’s some really cold days not every winter so that’s nice I like to look at the snow from the warmth of my home lol but I do enjoy living here. I’m an outside nature girl though. I know what you mean about the kids leaving though I gave 4 of my own 3 boys and a girl, all my boys are out on their own now one moved back to FL, 2 of them live on the mountain we used to live on, my daughter is 17 and will be a senior next year 😢 I miss my kids being around I was always that mom that the other moms thought was crazy bc I loved my kids being at home I looked forward to long holidays and summers I loved spending time with them I spend so much time with my daughter she is homeschooled now bc she wants to study conservation and our high schools didn’t have any choices for that so we chose a better online option that allows her to study her own choices. She’s extremely smart she’s doing a thesis level project on wildlife conservation where she logs native plants and animals so we do a lot of hiking and seed collecting she’s making a historical seed collection for future generations it’s really amazing. Kids amaze me every day how smart they are and how they think and how much they are like us as well. As for your daughters car, having lived in FL hurricane central I’ve dealt with flooding, out damp rid boxes inside of it, it will suck up the moisture and keep mold from growing, as for rust it really should dry out and not rust keep the windows cracked to let the moisture escape as well. And get a floor cleaning company to come out and clean the interior as well it will help with the mold. I hope it gets better soon. We have a dog that was brought to me she was a tiny dog when the girl brought her saying she rescued her from guts that were kicking her bc she was a tiny runt, but she’s 6 months old now and weighs about 90 lbs 😱 she is the love of my life and I’m a cat person not really a dog person but she’s my baby she was so afraid of everything but she’s so much better now she is a Mallenois that’s not spelled right lol and a ridgeless ridgeback. Wow adventures and abandoned places you sound like your a fun person I’m gonna have to go check out that other channel too bc wow you sound like you and I are kinda alike I’m glad I found your channel. 😊 But I am enjoying your videos and now I’ve typed a book here lol
Ohhh wow! That's sooo awesome that your daughter is doing a project on wildlife conservation! I love the outdoors and exploring nature myself! LOL Did you end up checking out my other CZcams channel all about exploring and my road trips, etc...? I really love traveling and camping whenever I can! Thanks for the well wishes about my daughter's car. It's raining again now... ALL week and her windows don't close correctly, so it's still getting wet and moldy inside. I'm so ready for the rains to end for awhile!😭 Wow! Florida to TN? I'm originally from Oklahoma, so California has been a big change for me! And that's so sweet! I actually purchased this diamond painting from Diamond Art Club! There's a link in my description to their website. I highly recommend them because they carry legit licensed artwork from some amazing artists! I also love Alice in Wonderland! How do you seal this?
Hi Denise! To be honest I've never sealed any of the diamond paintings I've completed. And so far I haven't had any problems with drills falling off or anything. I guess I just worry that sealing will dull their sparkle after time. ✨ I know some people do seal theirs. But I don't. Are you working on one now?
@@Needle2Needle yes I just finished one. Lots of glitz the jewels just seem to move a lot.
@@denisepinnell9072 ohhh I'm sorry to hear that. They really shouldn't do that. I think some places like Joann's or Michael's have an adhesive that you can use on the jewels that don't cooperate. I think my mom actually sealed a diamond painting that she just did... I'll ask her what she used!
@@denisepinnell9072 my mom said she uses Mod Podge Super Gloss (one coat gloss finish). So you could try that!
